Developing countries listened to experts, locked down and prevented thousands of deaths. Why doesn’t the West want to admit it?

The coronavirus didn’t hit wealthy countries first, but it hit them hard. So far, nearly four out of five global COVID-19 deaths have occurred in the global north, which encompasses most developed nations.

So what explains the strikingly lower death tolls in what President Donald Trump once called “shithole countries”? The most convincing explanation, experts said, is that poor countries have simply managed the pandemic better than rich ones.

The story of the developing world in recent decades has been falling rates of violence and government services reaching more people. That story has been overlooked because no one wants to tell it.

Long article - but worth reading. I learned much from it. Bottom line: "Poor countries have simply managed the pandemic better than rich ones."

Yeah like rioting and looting did the lockdown any good?

Lockdowns didn't prevent jack shit....They only delayed the inevitable spread and kept it from overwhelming the hospitals.

Likewise, only deaths from Commievirus are being counted here...Everyone who died from not receiving "elective" procedures not being performed, suicides, etcetera are very conveniently omitted.

Therefore the thread premise and the agitprop shit from Huffinglue Post is 100% BS.

They didn't "cook" the numbers at all.

The main thing is that the median age of someone dying from Covid 19 is 85. Life expectancy in Central African Empire, Guinea or Upper Volta is far under 85.

The people just aren't getting old enough to die from this bug.

Many of those developing nations like North Korea didnt have a lot of cases of the Wuhan Virus because if someone in that country even thought they had it , they were executed on sight.

No...WE cooked the numbers...in the west everyone dying WITH Covid died FROM Covid. Governments knew this would be the case because they incentivized Covid infections and treatments. Shit hole countries did not have a reason or the means to incentivize anything.
It is sad (not really) but some estimates now figure the numbers oof people who will die from starvation in the third world could quadruple.

I know one thing...when they start starving today because this hoax has screwed the world economy there will be a mass exodus to where the food is. Europe will be overrun again...and guess where a nice sized clump of those 70 IQ bulb heads are coming to? That's right...this Covid BS is going to have some serious knock-on.
God Bless America.

Why don't they just watch the State Funeral for George Floyd on TV from their home?

Typical. I suspect many of the S**thole countries have a more recent and more severe and reoccurring history of being laid low by disease than we do, so they listened to the authorities. We're Americans! We got it good! We're smart! So, we don't listen to any-damned-body!
