No. It is allegorical. For instance when Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge (which is a whole other allegory in itself), they hid from God when they heard Him coming. Why? Because they knew they had done wrong. Then when He asked them if they ate from the Tree, Adam said, the woman you made gave it to me and Eve said, the serpent deceived me. What all this means is that man knows right from wrong and when he violates it rather than abandoning the concept he rationalizes that he didn't do wrong. This is a self evident truth that everyone can see almost on a daily basis.
