If you live in a woke city you need to take a long, hard look at your local media. Can these information sources be trusted? Are the local media in the city too closely aligned with World Economic Forum and its plans to undermine the United States with ICLEI and Agenda 21 policies to change the voting demographics of the country?

Did your city broadsheet join a coalition of other newspapers to block the free speech of a former US president saying that his criticism of the press was a threat to democracy. Why would any newspaper join other newspapers to stem free speech? The answer of course is that actual free speech is dangerous to a status quo that has a decidedly socialist agenda and something to hide.

UN Agenda 21 and ICLEI: Is "sustainable development" something the American people want?

At 77 years old I have memories of what I was taught in school. One of the key points I recall is that I was told the main difference between democracy and totalitarianism is that in a democracy the press is there to inform the people and regularly investigate the existing power structure to keep it honest. In totalitarian countries the press functions as public relations for the established status quo. The press in authoritarian countries is essentially a propaganda arm of the government.

The instructors I had as a young citizen were survivors of the Great Depression and a world war, and I felt confident that they were telling me the truth. I still believe they gave me useful information. In closed, centrally planned societies like the former Soviet Union and East Germany critics of the government were routinely arrested and charged with crimes against the state. People in those societies would watch as dissidents were jailed along with their supporters, and many would assume state offenders were guilty of serious crimes. After all, the people in power and the subservient press were clearly saying that the troublemakers were trying to overthrow the state. We were told that could never happen here because we have democracy with a vigilant press that would expose it.

Did you see what they did to a former US president who was not part of a cabal to fundamentally change America? These people just substituted the word state for the word democracy and then accused the president of being an existential threat to the state which was now what democracy is all about. In other words, the state, not the people, decides what democracy is. New woke socialism in your city has redefined democracy as something owned exclusively by the state so socialism in now democracy. Do you see how clever that is? This is the same dark verbal virtuosity that was used by the communists in the Cold War.

All you have to do is look around and see what is happening. You need to see it with your own eyes not the distorted lens the state is providing for you.

You’re just now noticing the corporate press is a tool of the establishment. Where have you been for 77 years? This has been going on for decades. Though it’s gotten much worse. The Covid/Vax lies they spread should have opened everyone’s eyes.

It’s likely the gulag awaits us for speaking out against the establishment, just like the USSR.

PS. Don IS the establishment.

Very well said, unfortunately a good percentage of people in this country are naive and/or stupid. They trust their government, and as long as the status quo is maintained and they are not feeling any pain in their day to day lives, they will continue to be oblivious. Until it's too late.

Let me give you my opinion.

The problem is not that the media isn't doing it's job. It's that you don't like what the media is telling you. I say this with respect.

It's a function of how people get their information. Before you didn't have a choice between MSM and wherever you get your information. Now you do. If you don't like what CNN is telling you, you can just go on YouTube were anyone with a laptop and an opinion can make a quick buck on confirming your biases.

I speak from the experiences I've had on this board. Over the years I've gotten in the habit of being very particular of my sourcing here. Preferring primary sources wherever I can find them. What I've noticed is that no matter how unimpeachable the source. It still gets rejected by people.

The examples you give illustrate this point. Jan 6th happened, I saw it with my own eyes. It happened because of Trump refusing to concede the election, I sourced his tweets calling people to the Capitol. Although he lost all the lawsuits contesting the election, I sourced the court documents attesting to that. Trump pressured the DOJ to lie about their investigations. I sourced the memo he wanted them to release. He pressured governors and his own VP to not certify. I sourced a phone call to Kemp, and his tweets to Pence. Several RIGHT-WING media outlets had to settle Fox for hundreds of millions for propagating lies. I sourced those court documents. Trump's campaign forged electoral college votes. I sourced their letter. Etc.etc.

These are all things I've seen with my own eyes and sourced, not once using the media. Yet you assert he somehow didn't do what I know he did.

That's not a failure of the media. That's a failure of you.

Feel free to challenge what I said. I'll be happy to source.

You state this yet support our government’s heinous actions in Palestine and Ukraine. WTF!

You need to open your eyes.

You were at The Capital Building and saw the actions with your own eyes?

I don't support Ukraine, 'Palestine' brought its own troubles on themselves, perhaps they shouldn't attack and kill other people and they wouldn't be retaliated against? They haven't learned in almost 8 decades, I guess they never will, but then again they are being supported and paid for by outside sources to kill Jews, so I guess their greed outweighs their desire for a peaceful life.

I'm not a Jew hater like you, so I'm sure that's why you don't understand, hate blinds you.

Lol. Dupe.

You know nothing about Palestine and your post proves it. Stop supporting our criminal government and the Zionist apartheid regime.

You telling others they at oblivious is most hypocritical.

Your 'opinion' as a Jew hater is less than meaningless. 🤡

CNN technical director admitting on video that they worked to get Biden elected, and that they create propaganda to keep Trump out of office, and that was a goal of CNN.

MSNBC has been shown to make many overtly false claims and accusations of many types including ones intended to attack president trump.

Even 6 years ago nbc spoke about how news outlets are biased against Republicans but they now have become part of the problem today.

If you don't think the MSM skews and lies to you then that's a real shame you're buying into saying "you're the problem" when someone factually states WERE ALL being lied to, even you're being lied to. You're being lied to but you don't care, you're only interested in being in a tribe and defending the liars all for the sake of being a contrarian.

If you don't like trump that's fine, but use your brain and think for yourself, don't just repeat what all the others like you repeat in unison. Be your own person instead of being a person of your group. They are lying to us all and you go a long with it. A real individual, independent and thinking man would be upset about that.

If I don't like someone and the news told me bad stuff about him and I later found out it was a lie id be mad, not because i found out I was wrong about him, but because I was lied to about him.

And you also pretty much explained what you do. You go to places where you find the news you want to find. You ignore the places that have positive things to say about trump and only focus on the negative ones so you can come in here and further that rhetoric. You in detail described your game plan but tried to put it on him and make him seem like he is at fault for doing what you do.

If you see with your own eyes then it is obvious that no one joins an insurrection unarmed and a person that can barley speak in intelligent terms cannot get more votes than any candidate in human history. Your own eyes alerted you to the reaction of the state when the former president was elected. The state and its minions swore that it would take down movement with all its power. Massive, corruptive mail-in voting and midnight suitcases were not even hidden. You have to deny what you see with your own eyes if you accept the state's alternate-reality explanation that those who do not support the state are traitors to democracy.

Posters should take your words with several grains of salt, knowing that you are a full-throated supporter of Islamic Terrorism.

Lol. You are the one supporting mass murder of children. Not me.

Join up with Nazis. They are your true calling.

Take your lies and shove them up your ass, Jew hater. When you care about slaughtered Jewish children, then you might be taken seriously, until then you're a Jew hating troll. nothing more.
