Rand Paul would be a great president.

I disagree about obozo though, the world would have dodged a bullet if he was caught in a car doing lines of blow off Larry Sinclair's ass.

"A third of African-American males are prevented from voting."

Is that claim true?

That is an astonishing figure.

Let's get Jesse Ventura elected in 2016 and give Rand some more time to gain some more political experience.

Jesse Ventura is running on no party affiliation, so let's support him on that.

I agree with him. I won't vote for him as I think he is just a politician doing what he has to to get elected president and changes his positions like the wind changes.

All inmates are prevented from voting in elections regardless of color.

If 1/3 or more of the black population is incarcerated then it would make sense.

I am not trying to be racist here, I have many black friends who tell me that it is lack of education and involvement as to why black people don't vote. Not that anyone is denying them access.

Jesse Ventura? Yeah sure There's a a real beacon of lucidity.

How about a Ventura/Sheen ticket? Batshit crazy and drug addled whore monger all in one ticket.

I haven't observed that with Rand. I've judged him on his voting record so far in the Senate. And his voting record has been consistent with most of my views. I don't know what else you can ask of a Politician. They're not gonna be perfect. And that's the main problem i have with many staunch Libertarians. They tend to complain too much. They want the perfect candidate. And that's just not gonna happen. It's that 'all or nothing mentality' that has given us another 4yrs. of Communist-rule. It can't always be all or nothing with Libertarians. They too often come off as whiny petulant children. They're turning off people who would otherwise possibly take an interest in Libertarianism. I like Rand. So far i've been very impressed.

The US leads the world in incarceration

Mostly for non-violent crimes in fighting the war on drugs

If true do you see the benefit in denying voting rights to people who were locked up?

If true, do you see the benefit in unequal incarceration and jail times?

If true, what segment of the population would be most effected? What segment of the population would suffer?

People are thinking checkers when others are seeing chess moves 3-4 steps ahead

After completing parole voting rights are returned. Your argument is invalid.

That would be true if I said you never get those rights back. Since I didn't you're just making random statements

Fair enough. I misread your post. My bad

He threw his father under the bus and endorsed Romney that was the end of me supporting Rand. I am a National Socialist so no one for me to vote for anyways...I want the worst of the worst...this country needs to collapse.

Incarcerated population is way too dependent on the prison administration, so them "voting" is going to be a mocking circus of the process.

Do you really expect they will have the freedom to vote for somebody they want to or are they going to vote 100% for somebody administrations chooses for them?

Seems very petty and confusing. Rand would never throw his own Father under the bus. So that's absurd. And if you really are a National Socialist, i find it hard to fathom how you could have ever supported Rand at all. Him and his Dad aren't exactly known for their Socialist/Communist leanings. So far, Rand Paul has done a great job in the Senate. I base my support on voting records. And for me anyway, Rand's about as good as it gets at this point.
