As for his father? He was not a "national" at the time of his son's birth!!! And his deep personal ties to Fidel Castro and failure to secure his son as an American citizenship are PROOF that Ted Cruz does not belong in America!!!

McCain in order to run for president had to have Senate Resolution 511 drawn up confirming he was a natural born citizen due to being born to two U.S. citizen parents outside the jurisdiction of the United States. The framers original intent was that two American parents guaranteed sole allegiance at birth to America with no foreign sovereign ties that would create split allegiances putting the highest office in the land in jeopardy. Very common sense thinking.

The LAW has been changed to this newer version, and if YOU check on birth dates mentioned, you will find everyone fell into the proper timeline.... now do your homework!

I hate to say it, but Cruz is not that passionate of a speech giver.

Also, I don't know who wrote his speech, but the parts where Cruz was positive, future oreinted, and off the anti-Obama talking points were the best. The minute he switch t condemning Obama, he appeared clone like. The parts where he talked about imagining historical moments seemed out of place, especially since talking about what can be our future(with him leading) felt more alive and nationalistic to me.

There is potential, but Cruz may need to partition this speech and include some of his plans to show us what we can imagine is possible(keep it short, say 15 min?)--thus becoming a truly positive Rightwing candidate for President (see Reagan vs Carter on why this is effective in comparison to Bush vs Clinton)
