Zone1 Separation of Church and State?

Anti-religious activists basing their case on proven science, if you wish?

Christian ID'ers had their day in court but they weren't permitted to get away with their fraudulent attempt to invent their own science.
There is really no such thing as 'proven' science to a scientist. That is something dreamed up by people who want to put their own definition on what is 'real' science and what is not. "Certainty' is a very big word to a real scientist.

Science is a process of determining what the universe is made of and how it all works, what makes it work, what is happening at any given time. It is a constant process of discovery and understanding and must allow itself to be contradicted or it isn't science at all but just dogma that suits somebody's purpose. We have infinitely more scientific knowledge and understanding than we had a 100 or 150 years ago. And I am pretty confident that we have only a teensy fraction of all the science there is yet to learn.

And just for philosophical speculation, those who believe in God usually believe that God created all of the universe. And if so, that God is also the author of science. Perhaps it would not be wise to dismiss the source of science as unscientific?

I'm fully aware that you don't accept your bibles as the literal truth, but that doesn't help the children who accept the lies that it is.

Many of those children continue to believe the stories such as the big fish and the ark into adulthood.

You could say that's the quagmire that needs to change.
I don't see it as a quagmire. It is easily explained. There is no reason and no need for change. I truly am sorry these accounts are so difficult for you to understand. I had Catholic English teachers who could explain fables, folklore, legends, etc. and how they are used to present basic truths in the Bible and in stories like Aesop's Fables. Perhaps call for all children to be taught basic literature fundamentals.

NotfooledbyW Aug’24 Vsocas: Why are do Democrat Christians respect separation of church and state while on the other side of our politics Republican Christians want Cross of Christ Christianity to be inseparable from the state?

How’s come American Christians do not behave in the same way Saint_Ding when all Christian’s live under the same constitutional framework from the same history where our individual and personal consciences are unrelated and have no bearing from us to the state or from the state to us.

The states’ only conscience is the Constitution. That’s it. The states conscience cannot endorse everything Christian that Jefferson opposed in paragraph ii. above.

Separation of church and state restricted the Federal govt., not the states, and several of them kept their state sects until well into the 19th century, Massachusetts being the last, in 1834 or so, and not because of some Supreme Court ruling, but by the state's voters themselves, due to demographic changes; same with Connecticut. There is nothing banning displays of Christian symbols on Federal property, either. That's just a modern fiction pandering to assorted scum and deviants.

iii. Proof in writing that this country was not founded on any religion. 240531. {post•143}. NotfooledbyW Aug’24 Vpiwtt: What makes a person qualified to be a Christian when you claim it is true that America was founded by Christians?

In 1776 the majority of Christians on earth were Catholic. The Catholic Church founded Christianity and that Christian Church served for centuries as the potent mind control enforcement agency for the European hereditary system of government that was entirely based upon the notion that royalty is given sanction to rule by Divine right,

In 1776 most Christian’s did not consider Protestants to be Christians. The Catholic Church had nothing to do with the founding of America. The Protestants believe the same thing about the divinity of Jesus and the story of the Cross of Christ and they also served as the potent mind control enforcement agency for the European hereditary system of government.

It is more realistic to say truthfully based upon historical facts that America was founded by revolutionary intellectuals who decided the Christian Church could not be trusted to protect liberty of conscience for the law abiding citizenry of the new experimental nation based on self governance / no more divine rights based upon the heredity of God’s chosen families or nations nfbw 240531 Vpiwtt00143
