Science now completely understands how people get pregnant. They have even developed several effective means of preventing pregnancy. You cannot have “autonomy” without being informed and empowered to make choices to prevent unwanted outcomes.

If “autonomy” is what you want for women, then your cause should be to prevent pregnancies in the first place. Because the reality is, pregnancy ends a woman “bodily autonomy”. Abortion is not without risk or impact to the women. If you “need” and abortion, you have already lost you bodily autonomy. Bodily autonomy includes the ability to make choices to avoid unwanted consequences.

Abortion is championed by men who want to use women with zero consequences.
