I also don't think you have any idea that the law doesn't allow for decertifying an election or that you even are capable of comprehending that ANY investigation if possible (it isn't) would run past the inauguration date. What trial? There hasn’t been a trial of any sort. The only witnesses have been hand-picked by Pelosi and no cross-examination by republicans has been allowed.

What this is like is the Grand Jury I was on. The prosecutor decided which witnesses to call, what questions we could ask them and not only wasn’t the defense allowed cross-examination, but wasn’t allowed to be present at all. That’s exactly how Pelosi’s January 6th committee has operated. Calling it a Kangaroo Court is being generous.

That’s her pattern, both impeachments were run the same way, opinion and innuendo instead of verifiable facts.

Nonsense. SWAT teams are heavily armed and have armored vehicles. Many people believe that SWAT teams are too militarized.

If the insurrectionist used enough force to overrun SWAT teams, the Maryland and Virginia National Guards would have come in with guns blazing.

This is all hypothetical, if the insurrectionists had used firearms and killed numerous Police, secret Service and Congress people, it would have delegitimized their insurrection entirely. One way or another the whole bunch would be killed or rounded up and charged with treason. It would have been a bloody mess, but in the end a total failure.

They would take most or all of the electoral college hostage. They knew that Capitol police wouldn't launch an assault against a huge crowd. Instead they would try to negotiate.

Then Trump would march down to the Capitol and take charge of the negotiations.

Trump would negotiate a deal whereby they would release the hostages as long as the electoral college would throw out the election results of several states. That would void the electoral college.

The election would then be determined by the House of Representatives according to the Constitution - one representative from each state only. In that vote the Republicans had the majority and Trump would win the election.
