No, I said the Trump Administration doesn't want the case(s) in court GOING FORWARD.

Why?

Because it will put the J6 riots back in the news going forward into the 2026 mid-terms. Any case civil or criminal is going to be public and it's going to involvle lots and lots of video evidence and testimony about the the riots and how MAGAs attacked Congress.

Lt. Byrds actions have to be measured in the context of what he was facing, what he was hearing over the police radio net, what he was seeing before him. The riotous mob presented a clear and present danger and with breaching the last law enforcment barricade they were a danger of death or serious bodily injury not only to himself, but to members of Congress, their Staff, and civilians in the House Chamber just steps away after breaching the last barricade.



The real story of that day has been shown with video on the attack on the capital. This was not a beer party with a bunch of people looking for the bathroom, it was an attack on Congress.

No, Slade...I honestly can't imagine a GOOD cop drawing their weapon and not yelling a warning to get back or he would fire! Yet that was exactly what Michael Byrd DID and we know that because we have multiple audio recordings that would have picked up his warning. Byrd lied. He didn't say anything before opening fire on an unarmed female protester. He killed that woman without warning and then he lied his ass off about it when he realized how bad it looked. By the way, Byrd wasn't on the other side of a "wall" as you claim...he was on the other side of a doorway with glass windows...some of which had been breached! You sound so sure of yourself but you only have a small segment of an Internet video taken on the mob side of a wall with all kinds of background noise. Two investigations turned up that the shoot was clean. The investigations did much more than look at your video.

Look up Thomas Baranyi... He was a protestor standing next to Babbitt and caught her when she fell. You see him back away and act like he heard the cop issue warnings in the video before Babbitt went through the window. He also clearly stated that police were yelling at them to stop in a tv interview after the incident. This was a pro trump protestor that was actually there.
