Just look at NY City...it really should be its own state or independent city....same with Chicago...never happen because the leftists would lose 2 of their BIG electoral college states.

Outside of New York City, Astorino won the election by about 1%. Astorino won most of counties in upstate New York, and Suffolk County on Long Island. Cuomo won all of New York City, Westchester (both Cuomo's and Astorino's home county), Rockland and Nassau, and most of the traditionally liberal upstate counties (including Tompkins, Albany, Onondaga, Broome and three in the northeastern corner of the state)
