I know a couple people who used ot work for other firms that do this shit.
One of them was of course told he had to train his replacement in order to keep his severance pay which was significant. About 40 weeks.
One of the managers over his dept, a younger recent college grad walked to him and called him "old man"( the guy I know is in his mid 40's) and told him those three Pakistanis he was training would cost the company LESS than what they were paying him....My friend said he thought about filing a complaint with the EEOC and hiring an attorney to sue the company, but he decided to let it go....
He did catch on with two other firms doing consulting work for them. He now makes TWICE the money he made before.....And the irony of this is his former employer, the one that fired him in the first place....they wanted him to come back as a contract employee. He basically told them to lose his phone number.
He got lucky though.
Disney sucks. ESPN ( $8 per month) sucks....

Everyone should review the CAFR (Comprehensive Annual Financial Report) for USA.INC and it's 185,000 subsidiaries that are the states, cities, towns/townships and counties. What you all would find is that USA.INC only derives 1/3rd of it's revenue via taxes, fees and collections from violations of their acts, statutes and codes.The last 65 years, USA.INC and their subsidiaries have been skimming off the top and investing it in legitimate corporations. They are now the majority shareholders in every Fortune 500 company....and that explains quite a bit as to why these corporations pay little to no taxes. It also explains all the unfair "free trade agreements" that have allowed jobs to be moved overseas because it improves the bottom line of this massive corporation while pleading poverty and the need to raise taxes, fees and fines while cutting services for people BUT allowing in illegals that will work underneath the table thus cutting wages for those that actually have a job. I still have more research to do but I have been absolutely stunned at what I have learned. 70 percent of our politicians are lawyers (which according to the original 13th amendment should never have been allowed to happen because those that retain titles of nobility are not eligible) that write and pass legislation to keep these accounts from being properly audited and they have the ability to legally move this wealth into offshore accounts that cannot be touched. It certainly explains why someone will spend millions of their own money to try and win a job that only pays 185K....because they are going to get a piece of the pie. There is lots of information to be gleaned from the CAFR reports but while Americans may be suffering, USA.INC and their subsidiaries are rolling in high clover........learn, grow, evolve and stop being such a stupid flaming asswipe because I know more than you....infinitely more.
