SHATTERING the Liberal 'GOP - Party of Old, White Racists' Myth

Trump is an outsider.
A casino magnate billionaire. Proof of diversity. BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA!

One can actually SMELL the flop sweat.

Actually yes.

Diversity of ideas and backgrounds.

That you consider him primarily by his skin color reflects your world view, not ours.

The GOP establishment certainly does NOT look at him and see one of them.

But the dumb saps look at him and see one of them. Even though he's always been a Democrat who is pro-choice, pro-big government, pro taxing the rich, a good friend of the Clintons.

So when the same rubes say Trump is evidence of diversity, is anyone really surprised at their unabated stupidity and gullibility?

Nope. Not at all.

I long ago learned about this phenomenon of willing self-delusion with the bleevers in psychics, mediums, and other hucksters.

You people WANT to be lied to.

The further you pull back, the worse the picture gets for the GOP, diversity-wise.

This is the truth which the parroting rubes fear to admit to themselves.

Why? Only a bigot would be afraid of the truth.

A realist accepts the facts. And then the discussion can move forward.

"GOP: Pasty white and non-inclusive. Good or bad thing?"

The GOP may be pasty white. The question is why.

Iowa shows it is NOT because the pasty whites reject brown or black people.
 You are still in delusion why our GOP has a problem. Yes, it is about people like you.

Too bad, so sad. Everyone knows which party has more diversity. Everyone knows which party coddles racists and bigots.

Nice try.

Not.

The OP does not claim the Republicans have a more diverse party

The OP is challenging the Myth that GOP is the Party of old white racists.

THe White voters of Iowa had no problem voting for people of different races than themselves.

Probably because they were judging them on their policies and resumes instead of skin color.

You people WANT to be lied to.

Your dislike of Trump is off topic.

Trump is not one of the GOP party establishment. He is a populist and a nationalist.

He is certainly shaking things up with a very different perspective and polices and methods.

You look at him and judge him by his skin color as just another "pasty white guy".

Iowa shows "people like me" have no problem with voting for minorities.

This greatly undermines the Myth that the GOP is the party of "old white racists".

Succinct and to the point, very well said...yet something Liberals do not want to hear and will do their best to distract from.

Here's two photos from a South Carolina Republican rally.

South Carolina has one of the densest black populations in America. Notice how they found as many minorities as they could from the crowd for the PR photo. Not very many. There's one, maybe two black guys.

The GOP has a problem getting minorities to vote for them.

But as the OP and Iowa shows, the gop base has no problem voting for minorities.

This greatly undermines the Myth of the GOP being the Party of the "Old White Racists".

When only 20% of your all white electorate turns out to vote, it undermines nothing when an even smaller percent voted for the "minority" candidates.

God. I am still laughing my ass off that Donald Trump is an idiot's evidence of diversity in the GOP.

The pasty white billionaire who trashes Mexicans and Muslims.

Trump = Diversity.

Priceless! :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

The poor sap's delusions go DEEP!

Why are you avoiding the point of the OP?

THe fact that the "pasty" white voters of Iowa have no problem voting for various minorities disproves the Myth of the GOP being the party of "old white racists".

That you are incapable of seeing how Trump is shaking things up, because he is white, has more to do with liberals than the GOP.

Here's two photos from a South Carolina Republican rally.

Your photos are meaningless, what part of 60% of GOP whites voted for a minority didn't get through your thick Neanderthal skull?
100 percent of Democrats voted for a female and a Jew.

See how that works?

"Oh, hey. Jews and women don't count, we just want to make this about blacks and Hispanics."

That does not address the fact that the supposedly racist "old white" republicans of Iowa had no problem voting for various minorities.

Some blacks owned slaves.

All the slave owners were democrats….all the segregationists were democrats…….racism is the core belief of the democrat party...

So Robert E. Lee was a liberal?

Goddam that's funny.

He was a democrat.

I enjoy how you guys try to hide the fact that the democrats fought to keep slavery by trying to say that since they were conservative back then, that means they are the same as conservatives today……

The democrats were conserving the practice of slavery. Modern American Conservatives are trying to conserve the idea of the founding…that all men are created equal, and endowed by our creator with inalienable rights…..democrats…not so much……racism is their core belief….

Exactly…..race is only an issue for the democrats…it is the primary focus of their party….

In a few days, New Hampshire will choose the pasty white billionaire, and then the goldfish will conveniently forget this topic.

Maybe that's why easyt is trying to paint Trump as evidence of diversity.

The mental gymnastics the deluded pull are worth the price of admission, I gotta tell ya.

What is your point here?

So the first Primary isn't important compared to who finally wins?

That's fine.

BUT THE POINT OF THE OP STANDS.

The white gop voters of Iowa had no problem voting for various minorities.

This disproves the Myth of the GOP as the Party of "old white racists".

I woke up this morning to an eerie calm. Everything was silent. It was almost scary! I could not figure it out, and then it hit me. Trump supporters have all gone dumb! I mean, they have lost the ability to speak! Not even a Trump thread today! What can this mean?

He came in second in a state he didn't try all that hard in………much like their candidate they have simply gone back to work, and are waiting to vote in New Hampshire…..you left wing socialists…..I know work is foreign concept but that is how you get things done...

You're the one saying blacks should be offended, but they aren't. Why aren't they? You're the one saying blacks aren't smart enough to realize who is working for their benefit, and who is not. That is insulting, don't you think?

That's a great question, BD! After 50+ years of remaining completely faithful to the DNC and being no better off than they were then, in some ways worse, who do they still remain faithful? Doing the same thing and expecting the same results is 'insanity'. They remain faithful. Unemployment for blacks is double that of whites. The 1st black President ABANDONED / IGNORED African Americans, creating NO - ZERO - programs designed to help them out...perhaps because he was a Liberal before an African American?!

WHY are they NOT offended? Why do they remain faithful? Maybe they are insulted. Maybe they do not express it and remain faithful because they do not want to bite the hand that keeps the 'free stuff' flowing... Guess you are going to have ask them...

I won't bother trying to explain how blacks can tell who has been working for them, and who has been working against them, but you keep saying they are insane. That has worked so well for you so far.

Yeah…..black poverty rates in democrat cities, black crime rates in democrat cities, black education failure in democrat cities, ……seems to me they might start to catch on that something is amiss with the way they have been voting…..

Right wing bumper sticker "VOTE FOR ME, YOU LAZY IDIOT"
So you are demonizing the entire GOP for something you CLAIM 1 person had on the back of their car?! 'Generalize' much!

Good lawd, THAT Democrat has a bumper sticker says 'Honk if you're horny!" That means all Liberals are sexual deviants!

:lmao:

Well…the husband of their lead Presidential candidate is…..he is a rapist and a sexual predator…...

When only 20% of your all white electorate turns out to vote, it undermines nothing when an even smaller percent voted for the "minority" candidates.

Primaries generally get lower voter turn out and the ones that come out tend to be the hard core base.

That the more conservative core of the GOP has no problem voting for various minorities is even MORE of a disproving of the Myth that the GOP is the Party of "old white racists".

Not less.

And there is nothing to indicate that those who voted for Trump did so because of the race of the other candidates.

If that was the case, you would expect Trump to do WORSE when he hits far more "liberal" NH.

Instead he is widely expected to do better.

Too bad, so sad. Everyone knows which party has more diversity. Everyone knows which party coddles racists and bigots.

Nice try.

Not.

Considering the voting in Iowa that is not true.

That's why the OP refers, correctly to it as a myth.

Iowa shows "people like me" have no problem with voting for minorities. This greatly undermines the Myth that the GOP is the party of "old white racists".
Good for us. But the point is that we can't draw minorities in significant to vote our Republican Party. Why is that, Correll?

That does not address the fact that the supposedly racist "old white" republicans of Iowa had no problem voting for various minorities.
. . . but cannot get minorities to vote Republican in significant numbers. Why is that?
