Clearly hateful conservative rhetoric contributes to this problem: the right’s incessant whining about the myth of ‘political correctness,’ the right’s unwarranted and hostile backlash against the #Me Too movement, and the right’s propensity to reject claims made by women of sexual assault, to indeed attack, ridicule, and demean such women.
