It was in the halls of Congress while Congress was attempting to perform an essential Constitutional function. It was intended to disrupt that process and in fact did. It was not some demonstration on some little street in some little town. An example being made of those involved is the least that should be done. The scene was horrific and traumatizing to watch that day. People who love our system of government will not forget nor forgive. Those who would defend the criminals are no friends of America.

That would mean they were used as an example from the authoritarian dictatorship we live in. As soon and branded insurrectionists/terrorists a loss of rights occurred. The real cult is a godless all powerful central state one. And when not needed most Progs and others who support it are thrown away as nothing stop the advancing of the state.
