Republicans will probably hold the senate and gained seats in the house. That's an enormous backlash?The Republican establishment will do all that they can to block his nomination .Whether they they admit it or not, they know that he has seriously damaged the Republican brand. While he has a sizable following, the size of Biden's lead is testimony to the enormous backlash that he has unleashed.why not run as a republican if he runs again?

He'll be too old by then (78). We need to seek out and groom a younger (35-50) candidate who would run on the same platform as Trump did. It would be advisable that such candidate and/or his/her running mate be a minority. There are some good prospects out there. All that is needed is someone with mass appeal, can fight back against the loony-lefties and stands on Trumps original platform (strong borders, strong military, lower taxes, our Constitution and all of its listed freedoms, pro-business(small and large)).Perhaps Donald Trump should run in 2024 as an Independent.
