Should We Amend the Constitution to Make Supreme Court Justice Elected Every Four Years?

With the inevitable appointment of the POS Ketanji Brown Jackson should we fix this problem. She obviously has no place being a Supreme Court Justice, let alone a Supreme Court Justice for life. None of them deserve it for life. They aren't non-partisan. They should be held accountable to Americans.

No---

We should have higher standards for judges which she does not posse. Our problem is corrupt politicans that need to be removed first before any new rules.

In fact electing judges on any level is a piss poor practice.

Ten years

Turn the country over to an AI administered meritocracy. Zero errors, zero corruption, zero nepotism, zero self interest.

So far the longest case has been less than 10 years to conclude, so that fits.
20 seems a big long. I’d be ok with 15.

Those unsettled cases will be fine without them.

How about we test the thousands of untested rape tests sitting in storage for years? If the judicial system can’t handle it maybe we need younger justices.

Nobody, I repeat NOBODY, should have a job for life; unless of course, they own the company, but certainly not in government.

Every President in each of his 4 year term, should be able to put 1 Supreme Court Justice in place, and if another dies in that 4 year span, he gets 2. It should be weighted by age, and time served, with a mandatory retirement age of 67.

If the President has already replaced 1 in his 4 year term, then a 67 year old can continue on until the President is either re-elected, or loses the next election. That means no Supreme court Justice would go past the age of 70, and yes, for their service, they get an excellent retirement!

The only judge ABA had any issues about was Thomas...

Jackson is considered 'Well Qualified"...
