This old woman was merely parroting information she had been given by the Hillary campaign some time before. She was confusing Muslim with Arab. Neither of which is inherently racist, it is xenophobic, which is fear of the other, or of the out-group.

It was a fact that some time before, Obama's opponents used the fact that he was educated in a Muslim school as ammunition to try to stop his rise to power.

Among those in anthropology that study this, it is perfectly natural to all humans to fear those they perceive as the out-group.

You calling her racist is xenophobic and bigoted on two different levels, IOW, you also fear the out-group, perfectly natural.

You hate her because she does not love your candidate, or your in-group minority status, thus you think she is less than you on that level.

You also hate her because she is of a different generation, so again, you think she is less than you on another level.

You need to identify what your in-group is, become woke, and stop hating those who are different than you, and have a different POV than you.
