Liberals used to be enraged about censorship.
Back in the 60's the Smothers Brothers made it a big issue for the Left.
But nowadays they love it and they are attempt to defend it.
When Big Tech labels a person's opinion as "misinformation" they are stating that your opinion is a Thought Crime.
Thought Crimes and Censorship are the tools of tyranny and oppression.
Is this the future of our country?
Have the Dems now entered the dark side of humanity?

I can see you are censoring legible English usage. Big Tech is not full of leftist as you try to falsely try to infer it is full of people who like to be filthy rich and control aspects of your life that all businesses want to know because it is all about control and it is not just the big tech companies that do it..
The Smothers were cancelled due to the politics of the Vietnam war...

If something is misinformation and it's labelled as misinformation it's simply what it is.

No one tried to pass a law when the Smothers Brothers were cancelled.

Your question aside, I haven't thought of The Smothers Brothers in years. I was young and did not realize they were censored off the air. They were funny and it was a good show. Nice to know Tom and Dick are still alive, and 83 and 81 respectively. :)

They don’t label it misinformation now unless they’re lying through their teeth.

I am old enough (83) to remember the Smother Brothers and their encounter with censorship.

Yes, the American Civil Liberties Union (of which I was long a member) used to be (no more, sadly) a champion of free expression.

I am also old enough to remember when Ed Sullivan (remember him?) would not allow the cameras on his TV program to show Elvis gyrating below the waist!
