The slam on Obama is that he cant give a speech without a teleprompter and he follows it exactly while most will ad lib some things occasionally.

Trump normally does not use a teleprompter, but in this case he might start using one more to help him stay on message and not ad lib too much.

There is a big difference there, but I am not surprised that an ideological hack cant see it.
