Trump has the right to fire his FBI Director. He serves at the president's pleasure according to the Constitution. What is a crime is leaking memos of a classified nature to the press.....which Comey did. This is why we are having such a problem with releasing the I.G. report concerning FISA warrants. IT'S CLASSIFIED!!!

Also it is a crime to leak evidence of a Grand Jury hearing to the press. All of this stuff being leaked to the press the last year but Pencil neck, Baghdad Bob, or Adam Schiff, whatever you want to call him, wants to keep the FISA Report secret.

They said it was discussed, which is normal when a president is discussing his options with his staff. Especially when it appears Mueller is going outside of the parameters of his mandate. He is also experiencing glaring conflicts of interest. A recusal would be appropriate in this case.
