For those saying you need to have the surgery to be a tranny, how wrong you are..... So long as they think they are the opposite sex, they will force others, under pain of law, to deny reality along with them.

Ohhhhhh I get it!

The SSA doesn't care what gender you are. They just go by age, just the numbers. Changing gender is just vanity. Old people who decide at 75 they are a different gender aren't going to undergo surgery. It's dangerous and very painful. Not only that, it wouldn't do them any good either. So, the rules were changed to let them send in a letter. It doesn't really have any affect whatsoever.
