State of Louisiana hates gays - proof right here

actually you aren't interested in researching why this is happening. You'd rather make illicit comments to others.

When the cops are violating the Constitution, who do you think is going to win in the long run?

The homos. The cops are just making things a lot worse. The homos will be untouchable after this goes to court. They will OWN that park.

Well done, homophobes! Well done.

Are you scared that is what is going to happen? Channeling your own fears onto someone else?

He is saying that homophobic angst has done more to further the gay agenda than anything the gays have ever done.

Work on getting the law changed instead of pissing and moaning about it.

Its already been changed you moron. The Supreme Court nullified all anti-sodomy laws in Lawrence v Texas. The bigot heros of yours that are enforcing this unconstitutional law took an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution, and they are plainly violating it.

It never ceases to amaze me how the right will shamelessly defend any and all acts of bigotry perpetuated on anyone who isn't the same as them.

My fuck Jim Crow laws were still on the books in Mississippi until 2010 - by your bigoted logic the Mississippi sheriff's departments should have still been enforcing them.

Flawless Victory!

MeBelle tried to sweep it aside and got pounded for talk while being ignorant

Most criminal defendants can't afford a good lawyer. This is what the BR sheriff's dept is counting on.

The BR Sheriffs dept. has long been known to be a bunch of thugs.

That's why the government pays attorneys to represent indigent defendents.

the Op has become nothing more than a troll looking to stir hate on this board...

this disgusting little troll should be IGNORED

Gays in Baton Rouge arrested under invalid sodomy law | News | The Advocate ? Baton Rouge, LA

They're still arresting people for gay sex in my fucked up state.

I'm sure the defense from the religious right will be that the state doesn't hate gays, they just hate people who commit the crime of being gay.

Just who decides is the law is "invalid"? Has a judge ruled against it?

What choice do the police have but to enforce a law that's still on the books.

They could choose to enforce the Constitution instead, I suppose.

And, if you don't want to get arrested - don't do it publicly or keep your mouth shut about it.

:eusa_whistle:

The home of the arresting officer now qualifies as a public place? How is that?

Its funny how so far two of you homophobes have interpreted the private residence of an undercover police officer to be a public park.

Supreme Court tossed the Texas Statute. And while the LA statute would probably be tossed when challenged, if it hasnt been challenged, it would still be the law.

The law has already been changed, years ago. The sheriff is still enforcing it, despite the fact that no one is ever taken to trial.

You have to forgive MeBelle60, the bible tells her to hate gay people.

No it doesn't.
The Bible tells us not to live that way. It doesn't say to hate people that live that way. We're to love EVERYONE....but that doesn't mean we have to approve and support their way of life, and we shouldn't be expected to.

Yeah but he can't admit that. If he admitted the Bible isn't bad he might feel the need to *gasp* read it!

Who is violating the Constitution?

Apparently Lawrence V Texas, which invalidates law such as this, found that we have a constitutional right to anal sex.

It's another case of the Supreme Court declared stupid laws unconstitutional without bothering to look at what the actual constitution says. And then lefties pretending that the decision is the Constitutional instead of the Constitution.

Your courtesy is duly noted.

I have no idea what 'hero' you refer to, but if you want to go there, we sure can.

The link you presented has no source and no names of the arrested. It doesn't even have an incident date "one day this month"

A person with your education level should see all the holes in this piece of swiss cheese.

I deal in facts, not innuendo.

Wow, I'm impressed. When did you start doing that? I guess you have been learning from me.

she's been learning from you by doing the exact opposite of what you and dealing in facts?

If SCO TUS has said "no", then LA law is invalid.

Let's move on before LA has to pay enormous sums out the wrongfully arrested.

Right. So not enforcing unconstitutional laws against the private sex acts of consenting adults is the same as "approving and supporting" their way of life.

"Its not that we hate gays, we just want to round them up and put them in prison for being gay!"

Sure thing bud!

Now you're just being a fool (and the Bible tells us a LOT about fools). No we won't support it. By that I mean if there was a national vote whether gays should marry, true Christians would not vote FOR it. We shouldn't be expected to help gays get what they want, but if that kind of law passed anyway, we would have to respect the decision. We don't have to like it, but God did tell us to abide by the laws. And I don't know of anyone that has said gays should be rounded up and put in prison. Like I said....you're a fool.

No one hates gays more than Republicans hate gays. In fact, in their hate filled trifecta, I think gays are first, Muslims are second and blacks a close third.
