Stewart Does it Again on Ben-Gahhh-Zeee

So it's gone on this long because the White House aka "home of the whopper" has tried to keep information pertinent to the attack on Benghazi hidden.

I think it was Judicial Watch who sued successfully to get this latest email released.

What information is pertinent to the attack?

At this point whether or not the talking points were changed is a matter of opinion, right?

 Fox just got a new one ripped. Well done, Stewart.

Not at all. It's a fact. And the emails obtained back it up.

Like this:

The documents Judicial Watch obtained also include a September 12, 2012, email from former Deputy Spokesman at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations Payton Knopf to Susan Rice noting that at a press briefing earlier that day State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland explicitly stated that the attack on the consulate had been well planned. The email sent by Knopf to Rice at 5:42 pm said:

Responding to a question about whether it was an organized terror attack, Toria said that she couldn’t speak to the identity of the perpetrators but that it was clearly a complex attack.

Not spontaneous as claimed.

Weekly Update: JW Finds Benghazi Smoking Gun! | Judicial Watch

All this is out there. Nuland was in high gear on this one.

In May 2013, then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was also implicated in an ABC News report that claimed a State Department official urged the CIA and White House to avoid describing the event as an act of terrorism in public statements.

Leaked emails show that then State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland suggested that a CIA memo on Benghazi not include any reference of links to al-Qaeda and the intelligence warnings in the months preceding the attack.

Nuland wrote in protest to the CIA description, saying it "could be abused by members (of Congress) to beat up on the State Department for not paying attention to warnings," in an email to the White House and the CIA, according to ABC.

The intelligence memo was the basis for Rice's public statements in September 2012.

Who specifically are you saying lied?

Jon Stewart rips GOP and Fox: Where was your ?outrage and sanctimony? over Iraq?

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

When Tom Ridge said he was forced by Bush and Rummy to raise the terror threat levels for political gain remember all the outrage from the right? No?

Or when Bush planted a story in the "liberal media" New York Times about Saddam buying Aluminum tubes so the same day the whole Admin can go on the Sunday shows and tell the cite the planted article....Outrage or nah?

Stewart rips again by showing video of no one giving a single fuck

Iraq was duly authorized by the U.S. Congress.

PERIOD.

Stewart once again proves himself a dunce.

You guys keep pointing this out with out any context whatsoever.

The Authorization to Use Military force was "approved" after 9/11, the President linked the attacks to the Iraqis and specifically pointed out that if "You were not with us, you are with the terrorists".

Even then? Bush had a choice of letting more inspections take place.

He didn't do that.

He ordered an invasion immediately.

And later?

It was found that at best the intelligence used to justify that invasion was old, cherry picked and wrong.

At worst?

It was a lie.

Jon Stewart is a God. He singlehandedly takes down more republican talking points and reveals them as the idiots they are than an army of pundits.

The mainstream media, with news that bad, no wonder liberals look to comedians for news. Sigh. Taking anything he says seriously shows how detached from reality they really are.

Several Democrats did not feel comfortable voting to give Bush the authorization to declare war if Iraq did not comply but there is a time when America stands together. Democrats knew that a public fight with the President was not in the best interest in the country. Democrats put country first. A lesson lost on Republicans.

But then the undermine the war effort at everyturn after the fact was some how all goood,yu people are something.

Harry Reid with is big fucking moth got more people killed and extended the conflict by unmeasurable ways, yet you people just love a low life politician that says what you want to hear.

The bit was hysterical -- all the Fox News idiots looked like the asshole hypocrites that they are.

All we know for certain is that Obama lied as a political expediency to avoid making his botched foreign policy a centerpiece of the 2012 campaign

Wait. Do you mean Fox and Friends isn't comedy?

What's so damn funny about the rw lies is that there is no evidence that they are hurting either President Obama or Secty Clinton.
