In case you weren't keeping track, US Army Major Nadal who is accused of murdering 13 of his own men and wounding 30 others in a shooting spree at Ft. Hood in 2009, has been granted the option of representing himself in his Courtmartial. This means he can question witnesses to the crime he is alleged to have committed. The prosecution rested today and the defense starts next. Nadal has two witnesses listed but allegedly he informed the prosecution that he will not call them to testify. It leaves Nadal to be his only witness and the judge has ruled that he can't just give a speech. If Nadal calls himself as a defense witness he must take the stand and ask himself questions and then answer them. It should be pretty weird. My guess is that he will be convicted and sentenced to be executed but will be granted a new trial because of inadequate defense.

Funny how the liberal media isn't speculating about the most sensational trial since McVeigh. Personally I doubt if the jihad Major wants to be a martyr or he would have shot himself at the scene. The freaking coward is counting on the inept US Justice system to give him a break because of inadequate defense and it seems that the Obama administration would bend over backwards to accomodate him.

The media is trying to cover for all the leniency the judge is giving hasan. The judge refused evidence of his involvement with AQ because such proof would harm the goverment's position that it's workplace violence.
