Students try to shut down College Republicans meeting

The left feels that it's THEIR first amendment right to shut down someone else's first amendment rights.

Liberals usually hide behind lies and false fronts, president Trump so triggered them they are out in the open now, revealing isn't it.

Students Storm Library, Shut Down UC Santa Cruz College Republicans Meeting...Fascism in all of its glory.

Fascism is something fomented and implemented by a state government and its leadership, not by a bunch of students.
Where in the hell do you learn such bullshit? Or do you just make it up on the fly?
Perhaps you read the post prior to my including links in it.

"The word "fascism" is thrown around these days with abandon." Fascism is something fomented and implemented by a state government and its leadership, not by a bunch of students.

Yet anybody who actually KNOWS a thing or two about fascism rather than simply referring to a reference understands that the term was chosen to describe a movement predicated upon unquestioned belief. You are as ignorant as you are pompous and formulaic, so you do not understand that the term was coined using an implement called a fasces as its inspiration. A fasces is an ancient implement consisting of a bundle of sticks bound tightly around an axe blade, the symbolism being quite clear in that the sticks represented a group of people absolutely unified and the blade represented the power such unity yields. It is in this most basic use of the term that has been referenced here to describe the behavior of the students and it is entirely accurate as such. They DO exhibit an unthinking and unquestioning adherence to a shared belief system that allows for no other beliefs, they DO act as one, and they ARE using their combined numbers to intimidate and control.

Fascism in all of its glory. Time to cut all Fed funding of California universities for not upholding the Constitutional Rights of its students.

A College Republicans meeting at the University of California, Santa Cruz was taken over by protesters screaming that the group’s existence is a threat to the safety of students.

Shortly after the CR meeting convened, one student entered the ground floor room of McHenry Library to ask attendees which group was assembling. After being informed that the meeting was a gathering of College Republicans, the student returned about 15-20 minutes later with company.

One of the ringleaders of the protest was student activist Haik Adamian, who posted an announcement in the official UCSC Student Facebook group calling on students to deny the CR group its First Amendment rights.

“White Supremacist, fascist sympathizing College Republicans are having a meeting at McHenry library, room 0332. Everybody be aware of this violent racist activity happening everyday on this campus!” he wrote, adding that “We need a movement of people on this campus that rejects the ‘right of assembly,’ or ‘right of free speech’ for white supremacists and fascists.”

Heeding Adamian’s call, student activists disrupted the meeting by banging open the door to the meeting space and shouting accusations that the members were “fascists,” “racists,” and “white supremacists.”

According to the UCSC College Republicans, their offers to discuss the concerns of the protesters were met with exclamations that “dialogue is violence,” after which the protesters called the club’s presence a “threat to the library” and demanded that the CR members vacate the space immediately.

No administrators or cops or was it their day off? Something I've heard all my life has become real: "The inmates are running the asylums."

it took them 2 hours to respond.

Fascism in all of its glory.
Oh, the irony! The speaker the people are protesting is a Nazi, dumb fuck.
Who? I read the article. No "speaker" or Nazi guest is mentioned. Based on that, my opinion is that
ANTIFA tactics are not acceptable in 99% of cases and this is certainly one where they deserved to be arrested and the college would be within bounds to give them stern consequences for such unprovoked disruption of other students' rights.

And yet, a bunch of students have zero formal authority by which they can exert their will on a national scale, and they have not been shown to belong to any group asserting itself as fascist. Bullies they may be, but fascists they are not.

These CR groups need to get their heads out of the sand and begin defending themselves, one way or another. They sound like naive morons every time i read about them.

Proper Prior Planning Prevents Pathetic, Prissy Protesters. Have an armed guard at the meetings. Arm themselves if necessary. The first snowflake who gets an orbital bone shattered by a Louisville Slugger greatly dissuades the others. They aren't willing to bleed for their cause.

Somebody needs to tell these cupcakes that they are the ones acting like fascist. They need to be arrested and expelled from school.

"As a Democrat, I am embarrassed that some people on the left act this way,” remarked Phil Leonard Vogel, creator of the moderate campus news publication City on a Phil. “They give all of us a terrible name."

After nearly two hours, school officials eventually called the police, who reportedly arrested three of the protesters.

“When the protesters came in, we all just wanted to talk with them. We didn't want there to be any trouble, and since we enjoy debate, they would've been welcome to talk,” CR President Brandon Lang told Campus Reform, though he added that he “wasn't surprised when they continued their chanting, as they made it obvious from the outset that they weren't there to talk.”

That would have been a terrible mistake. You never argue with fools or debate anyone. It's a waste of time and energy.

Richard Spencer speaks at University of Florida: What to know

That's Fox News.

Richard Spencer, white nationalist and self-described leader of the alt-right movement, gave an abbreviated speech at the University of Florida in Gainesville on Thursday afternoon.

White Nationalist = Nazi.

Weatherman called him a Republican, and called anyone opposed to the Nazi a fascist. It just doesn't get more fucking bogus than that, boys and girls.
