Actually we're coming to the end of one hence the loss of so many glaciers. Long term forecasts now suggest we'll start back the other way and in a big way in the next 10-15 years no matter what we do to "curb global warming".

If you think global warming was bad, keep in mind that it has extended growing seasons by more than a month in the northern climes over the last hundred years. When the pendulum swings back in very short order we will no longer be able to feed our population.

When people get desperate for basic natural resources really bad things like world wars occur.

Climate change is typical for the earth and the reason for 99% of the species that ever lived on earth to go extinct.

Humans are very adaptable. We live in the coldest places on the planet and the warmest. We lived through the last hard ice age. We will survive climate change. Not at the numbers we have now but the human race will continue.

The last few thousand years have been very good for humans. The next few thousand may not be as good but we will survive.

I am aware of the 11 year and longer term 90 years cycles: Maunder Minimum
Clearly we have Overridden the 11 year one for 70 years. Probably 150.
No doubt it has been present (including in 2017) with 2016 a record high, and 2021 just about tying it for warmest years, ergo overriding it quickly.

I hope a stronger Maunder Minimum come because it will perhaps buy us some time we don't deserve to upgrade our tech and clean power on what would otherwise a continuation/Yet more accelerat!on of warming and melting.
We are walking the plank as it stands.

That has been the case in every other other warming cycle but is Not in this one.
CO2 has been been BOTH a trailing and aggravating agent in warming.
Past warmings have started with solar/astronomical radiation/forcing:: orbital inducement.
Scientists are of course aware of this and KNOW it is Not true in this case.

They have measure Solar Radiation in/out directly and it has not changed.
What has changed is the 50% thicker GHG blanket trapping warmth, and reflecting radiation/blocked from going back into space, and instead is reflected/held back at earth at the precise spectral wavelengths of the GHGs. (Water Vapor, CO2, CH2/Methane, etc)
That's how they know.

They also know by the CO2 isotope that we caused vs nature is the one most prevalent without us.

If CO2 caused the heating with the massive jump in CO2 in the last thirty years global temps woul have to have risen by far more than 2 degrees per decade and we'd already be living on a "scorched earth".

We've increase CO2 by about 100ppm since 60 with only a total of less than 2 degrees increase in temps and the rise in temps has always fallen behind the slope of the increase in C02.

If you want to worry about something we can control that has the most influence on global warming overall it's water vapor so ban all types of flood and sprinkler irrigation.

Take a look at how wide the temp swings are in the deserts of the world, compared to the coastal, lake and river regions and you can start pretty quickly developing a clue as to what drives that cycle.

Add to that the concreting, asphalting, and use of such things as asphalt shingles that don't reflect heat back away from the planet and you get another really big clue in a hurry.

Temps from urban areas at the same latitutdes just fifty miles from an official tracking station at civilian and military airports as well as civilian networks all in major cities can average as much as 5-10 degrees F lower than the concrete jungles because anything made of asphalt and or stone stores heat from solar radiation when it's sunny then slowly releases it back when it's not and temps begin to cool.

The Global warming was proven to be a scam and the world caught on so they repackaged it as, "Climate Change". The only thing that has ever been consistent about our climate is that it is never static and hasn't been since the planet first started to cool 4bn years ago.

We aren't even as yet at the same temp levels as the so called, "Climate Optimum" of the middle ages.

The planet cannot be modeled and neither can a planetary climate accurately with such a tiny data set of acccurate date that only began with WWII. There was no standardization of readings either until the modern satellite era.

We have a tiny snapshot of an even tinier fragment of time and the whole climate scam is nothing but a way to reap the walth of the industrialized world and give it to the developing world.

That's nothing but global socialism which why it's not the lest bit surprising that the political left jumped head first following that hypocrite, fraud, and moonbat ALGORE!
