Surprisingly, I agree with trump's spokesman.

Nope. Never asked anyone to change the electors.

All he asked was to count votes that had been trashed by the Florida government.
Trump never tried what you are saying either. He was simply challenging the election, based on the cheating that took place by dems.

Media reaction to Trump campaign email leak starkly different from 2016, when Clinton was hacked

Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung reminded the press of their duty to fairness and democracy. “Any media or news outlet reprinting documents or internal communications are doing the bidding of America’s enemies and doing exactly what they want.”

Hypocrisy continues to be a feature of trumpery.

But Trump sang a different tune in July 2016, when during a news conference the presidential hopeful directly appealed to Russia to hack Clinton’s emails.

The entity Cheung's reference to doing the bidding of America’s enemies was of course Russia. Back then trump was soliciting Putin's help with the campaign. Soliciting and welcoming the help of one of America's enemies. Arguably an act of treachery if not treason for which he paid no political price. Such is the nature of the unconditional devotion of The Following.

As the article points out, there's another form of hypocrisy going on here. The media's. For all the whining complaints about media bias from Repubs, the overly sensationalized coverage of the Wikileaks document dumps unquestionably hurt Clinton's chances for election.

Here's How Many Bernie Sanders Supporters Ultimately Voted For Trump

As difficult if not impossible as it is to quantify the magnitude of the affect Russia's activities had in support of trump's election this is one concrete way to do so.
And 4 years later, TRUMP! shut them down so completely that no one was even talking about Russian interference, and we had the freest, most corruption free election EVAH!

Sure he did. We have legislators from numerous states who testified to it. This was openly talked about after the election by people including Ron DeSantis.

This happened. You refuse to acknowledge it.

Boy, are you gullible.
Boy you are ignorant. If you were to step out of the media bubble you live in, you might actually know any of this.

But the right wing media keeps you dumb.

Look up the testimony of Rusty Bowers. Trump and Giuliani asked him to call a special session in Arizona and appoint new electors.

Jesus, what a stupid MF'er you really are...When Trump made that comment in 2016, he was tongue in cheek mocking the idiots on the left that were clutching their pearls over the joke....What Trump was doing in joking about Russia hacking Hillary's emails was to highlight that it was indeed Democrats working with Russia to fabricate a complex story about Trump to win the election, and it backfired because as Democrats will never learn, when working with America's enemies, then being amazed that they double crossed them...Dolts like you will never learn.....
First off, only the left can be humorous and decide, it was wrong for the email scandal for Clinton as it was for Trump and the scandal did not cost Clinton the election. Partisanship creates extreme bias and emotion is attached to their opinion no matter how irrational it is.

Both sides have it and extremists emotionally support it.

Russia had nothing to do with Hillary losing. That was all on her.

Not all of it. A LOT of it is on the phony email scandal, and the FBI's handling of it, and 20 years of Republicans lying about the Clintons and calling them "criminals" on no evidence.

Hillary campaigned poorly, but the American public was all too willing to believe the lies, primed by 20 years of Republican media painting the Clintons as "lying criminals".

She lost Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania (among other states in the primaries). People were saying they did not want her and she ignored and took them for granted.

Is it because most conservative's positions/beliefs are factually indefensible that you constantly fall back on false equivalences?

Spot on. Kevin McCarthy said the quiet part out loud when he admitted the Benghazi hearings were all about hurting Clinton's candidacy.

That she had high unfavorable ratings and made strategic campaign mistakes is indisputable. They were not the only things that played a role in her defeat.

He has no doubt shoved Bowers' name down the memory hole if he heard about him at all given he said the only media sources he believes/uses are in the bag for trump.

That is your bias talking, if find both action appalling and wrong, you justify one and condemn the other based on your political bias. Live with it.

They were why she lost. The Democrats are using the same playbook with Harris also. We will see how it goes.

Someone popular would be wiping the floor with Trump.
