Tax the rich, lose the rich

Yes, she is fun to toy with. Her personality reminds me of the ugly girl from 'spinal tap.'

CaliforniaGirl is as twisted sick women who parks cars in a British parking building, demeans America and its better parts, and attacks obamacare while using British socialized medicine. Of course she neg reps and won't answer.

She goes hormonal when she sees me addressing one of her sillinesses.

Gonna sit here and wait for JokeyBoy to provide some evidence of any of his delusional accusations.... which are about as valid as his desire to run me out of a party I don't even belong to. Sad, sad, sad little boy.:lol::lol:

You're going to be sitting for a long long time. Because JakeStarkey is "King of the Unsubstantiated Statement."

He does love a Band Wagon. Personally, I see their obsession with my life as kind of funny. I don't remember jack shit about Jokey, or Dainty.... but they know more about me than I do. Does this tell us something? I think it does. They pay far more attention to me than I do to them. They are sooooo fascinated by me that they make shit up. How cool is that? They must have really, really, really dull lives.:lol::lol:

Keep in mind that wealthy people represent the dynamic force in our economy, starting businesses, expanding existing businesses or investing in new or starting companies. That they want to take their marbles and leave is a bad sign for us.
Gee....what're they gonna do....create FEWER jobs, if they leave????

277.gif

"The hard, empirical facts: The tax cuts did not spur investment. Job growth in the George W. Bush years was one-seventh that of the Clinton years."

Do better than that, The Rabbi. How Americans left when the tax rates were in the 70s and higher, hmmmm?

If nine rich people want to leave, don't let the door hit them in the ass on the way out. They are not needed.

That 251,000 earner would pay the higher rate on 1,000. If we're talking 36% going to 39%,

they pay an extra 30 bucks.

Just enough to push them over the edge to the point where they pack up and move to some tax-free haven where they can live in freedom!

I'm wondering where all these rich people will be moving to, where they'll get rates in the 10's 20's and low 30's on their first 250,000 of taxable income, and no more than 39% on the rest.

The Land of Conservatopia, of course.

Yes, she is fun to toy with. Her personality reminds me of the ugly girl from 'spinal tap.'

she's way too hateful and angry for me. I really do wish she'd find peace.

Yeah, the anger that infests her is what I do not get. And, yeah, all deserve peace and contentment. I hope she finds it.

here's where they get upset and start talking among themselves. they've been exposed as fools. I tried an experiment, see what they would do if I copied what they do. Charles commeneted upon it.

Whe people like Cali-Boil and the Faux Rabbi lose arguments or get exposed they always seem to post to each other as a way feeling safe with numbers. It isn't that they post to each other, it's that they avoid the topic as a way of avoiding anything of substance. It's like when they get attacked they circle the wagons.

Group tactics is all most right wingers here have. Alone, most all get their asses handed to them by even the most inexperienced non winger

Most fauxcon, when rattled, neg rep over anything but particularly different opinion (!); or a few attack family or sexually, then whine when warned or sat down for a time; or talk to each other because they can't answer the most basic opposing arguments.

What I think evil is the fauxcon tactics to create their own definitions unrooted in reality and demand the rest of the world to accept them so they create their own fantasy world. PoliticalChic's consistent (and consistently defeated) attempt to rehabilitate the reputation of that evil man, Joe McCarthy, and the evil men, some like Robert Welch, who supported him. PC has yet to confront the fact that conservative members of McCarthy's own party pulled him down and destroyed him politically, a wonderful blessing to America and Americans.

They will not change, so we will continue to expose them.

Yeah.....that turned-out to be WRONG, as well.

"In fact, while the arguments in favor of tax cuts for the wealthy have been known to change over time, the bottom line never does. When Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) introduced a stimulus plan authored by the Heritage Foundation back in 2009, it consisted entirely of making the Bush tax cuts permanent and adding tax breaks for corporations and wealthy Americans. If it had been enacted, the plan would have cost roughly three times what the stimulus package—then under consideration in Congress, and later passed—was estimated to cost over a period of 10 years. Even Sen. DeMint found it necessary to admit at the time that his plan was “not innovative or particularly clever. In fact, it’s only eleven pages.”

During the New Deal the top tax rate grew steadily and unemployment steadily declined.

The top tax rate never got below 91 percent during the 1050s. For most Americans those were good years.

Since the top tax rate declined below 70 percent real after tax income for at least half of the American population declined, while the rich have gotten richer.

Correlation is not causation, dunce.

The US had a 3rd world wealth structure prior to the postwar years. Starting in the late 30s, mostly through tax policy, surplus income on top was utilized to expand opportunity for the middle class and build the modern industrial infrastructure upon which commerce depends. Additionally, labor policies were enacted to lift wages and boost the purchasing power of the newly formed middle class (-this was the heyday of American Conservatism because the high wages & benefits along with programs like the GI Bill meant the family could afford to have the mother stay home and raise the kids).

Then came the stagflation of the 70s, caused by the oil shocks and the over-application of Keynesian policies (where inflation undermined the higher wages of the middle class). This allowed the right to lower taxes and get rid of American Labor protections on the promise that this would lead to economic growth. We let Reagan open all barriers to trade; and then we let him remove capital's bondage to American Labor. And - as a result - the wealthy moved all manufacturing to Asian sweat shops where Nike's are made for pennies a day so wealthy investors can make bank.

In addition to being a pompous ass you're just plain stupid.
I thought the Right (whoever they are) wanted to lower taxes to favor the wealthy? Get your misinformation straight.

How many times did your hero Reagan raise taxes during his presidency?

Again. 70's stagflation, caused by the oil shocks and over-application of Keynesian policies, gave Reagan an opening. The result was historic tax cuts and the death of the high middle class wage and benefit system (bolstered by a war on programs which gave the middle class more affordable education).

[Remember: capital wants super cheap labor. This is why US manufacturing moved to communist China: because investors want the higher returns enabled by cheap labor. During the postwar years business hated having to support a thriving (i.e., expensive) middle class labor market. So Reagan dismantled what the Right called the artificially high wage system of the pampered American worker. This meant the father had to get a second job and the mother was thrust into the labor market in order to make up for diminishing and stagnant wages. This was basically a Rightwing war on the American Family. It was done to give large corporations higher returns. Those higher returns were shared with charismatic pundits like Limbaugh, Hannity and Levine, all of whom were paid handsomely to call this crime against families "freedom". ]

In order to stall the eventual collapse of the middle class, the Reagan Revolution presided over an unprecedented expansion of credit. [As wages and benefits went down, credit filled the gap] This expansion of credit reached its apex when Reagan's Maestro, Allan Greenspan, called newly deregulated subprime and derivative the innovative fruits of financial entrepreneurs.

If you don't use tax policy to move the surplus wealth on top into infrastructure and middle class opportunity, you end up where we are now: a dying middle class who takes on ever increasing debt to make up for the money and jobs that are not trickling down, coupled with an upper class that has historic levels of cash with no where to invest because all the consumers have been turned into low wage serfs.

This is how nations die. A small amount of people own all the wealth.. and they use that centralized power to distract morons into thinking that somebody else runs the system. This is why the Rightwing media bullhorn constantly spews garbage about the illegal, gay, Islamo-fascist, socialist, atheist, Marxist, hiding under the bed.

They want you to believe that we live in Ayn Rand's Russia where Stalin steals your family's pharmacy. They want you to believe that the wealthy are still being persecuted. Silly Rabbi. Everyone knows the pharmaceutical owns the politician.

All you "don't let the screen door hit you where the good Lord split you" liberal class warriors can just STFU now.

Yeah and despite the fact that bush's tax cuts which were supposed to spur growth are still active while the wealthy that you are referring to chose and are choosing to pocket the tax breaks and have not used them to act as the dynamic force in our economy and are now asking for MORE.

Sometimes you have to say enough is enough. If they have the tax cuts but haven't used them for what they claimed they would use them for then why should they get more or even keep what they got??

You mean the tax cuts that are expiring in January? The ones Geithner said he would oppose renewing?
Do you think wealthy people wait around until taxes hit them before they do something?
The economy expanded for 7 years after the tax cuts. To pretend otherwise is the mark of a partisan retard.
Of course look who I'm responding to.

Speaking of partisan retards, how about that Junebug Bush's economic policies?

Why not inform readers here by describing the Bush League's economic results? Maybe you can start with September 2008 then connect the dots across that month, say from warmongering to debt load and from secret quantitative easing to bailouts?

It'll be something to see a penetrating - and honest - analysis of how ReagaNUT policies may well have bankrupted the US before the nation rejected business as usual in the form of another Clinton to elect a nobody like Obama?

Nutballs really racked the table for that one. I am still laughing out loud thinking about it.

But I digress...

Let the recent crop of thieves leave. If there is something the rest of us can do to get them out of the country faster so we can bring in Latin, Asian and European money, let's get that done. The idea that investors will stay out of the wealthiest market in the history of humankind because of taxes is so sophomorically stupid it is almost certain a nutball came up with it.
