Tea Party is a very autonomous organization and it depends on the chapter to see what their local stances are. In my area of a growing suburban area of Atlanta the Tea Party started off as a tax issue ONLY. Then the outsiders came in, oddly from the north east, and took over and took on every "conservative" issue such as abortion, gay marriage and all the other "moral" issues of the day. I fully support the Tea Party on tax issues 100%. However, the Tea Party in my area are a room full of KOOKS. They lie and amazingly offer candidates that have numerous bankruptcies in their past. Tea Party candidates that preach fiscal responsibility and have bad credit, do not work, have had their houses foreclosed on and have filed bankruptcies. Would never have believed it if it was not right there in front of my eyes.
