And the American citizens who live in Texas cannot have their citizenship taken from by popular vote or act of government, which would likewise be un-Constitutional.

Yep, according to the folks pushing this they are leaving due to an oppressive government. An oppressive government would not let them leave, and if they did they would sanction the new country and do not business with it and do no business with anyone that did.

Then companies would have to decide which they wanted to do business with, the US as a whole or the new country of Texas.
