Texas secession petition on White House website fast approaching 25,000-signatures!

Those on the left don't want conservatives to leave, rather, they just want to be able to tell them how to live their lives. After all, if all the slaves leave where does that leave the plantation owners? Next thing you know those in unions will be the only ones left. Who then will get special perks like when you go to buy a car or refinance a mortgage or who have the liberty to opt out of paying into Obamacare?

It's not like all those civil rights laws have changed anything. It might be worse now than it was after the civil war ended. There are laws against segregation, but there's more segregation now than ever before and the victims are worse off.

At one time, blacks lived in black neighborhoods in successful cities. Now they have entire cities to themselves. Laws don't change anything because people just become more creative at not having those laws apply to them.

Civil RIghts? The US government just passed the NDAA under Obama which basically allows the US government to detain its citizens withot due process indefinately.

What Civil Rights?

Don't forget when he dropped a missile from a drone on an AMERICAN CITIZEN'S head without providing him due process.

To be fair, once you reach a certain level of intellectual enlightenment due process becomes obsolete. Due process is for conservatives and their ilk who need due process to sort out all the facts.

It's all about moving forward and removing tired old notions such as due process.

It seems like a majority of liberals would prefer it if conservative states were gone.

Nonsense.

Conservative states play an important role in civil rights litigation.

Their reactionary laws hostile to the Constitution and civil liberties contribute to the establishment of legal precedent used to strike down similar laws in other conservative states, protecting the individual rights of all Americans.

No...we don't mind you leaving at all. Don't stay on our account. Please, be off with you if it makes you happy. That would then make two of us.

To suggest there is a one-world unified conspiracy is bozoism, pure and simple.

You can make a point that the integration of transportation, communications, and banking on the global level is driving a greater level of regional groups, yes, I will agree with that.

One-world bozoism on the loose. Go, Vott, go!

The IMF is already discussing how they will restructure things. All that has been determined is that they will not return to the gold stadard. For you see, when money was based on gold, before 1971 in the US, it meant that balancing the books was a must. That is the beauty of fiat currency, which is no accountability. Too bad that historically all currencies that have used fiat currency went belly up.

When you look at how government has centralized itself and how the private sector has centralized itself, to scoff at a one world mentality is just mind boggling to me? What rock did you crawl out from under?

You all are arguing like it would be only Texas that would sucede. If this came to be, it wouldn't only be Texas that broke away from the union.

But...

It's not going to happen. Things aren't bad enough yet for any state to leave. Now, after Obama appoints his two Supreme Court Justices and the Constitution is gutted, then these little whispers will become something.

Why then do you assume I meant conspiracy? I'm just stating the facts and the facts point toward further centralization.

Touchy, touchy.

Time is not on the side of those who wish to leave the Union. They project in less than 10 years Texas becomes a blue state due to illegals.

BTW, what do you mean WHEN the Constitution is gutted? LOL.

Further centralization occurred when the cave family clan next cave over started trading and mating and warring with the cave family next door. If this is what you are saying, I misunderstood (1) thrust of your argument and (2) apologize for the misunderstanding.

Centralization is human nature. Man seeks power, secures power, and seeks more power. In the end more and more people will be put under his yoke till there is nothing left but a bunch of oligarchs. Then at some point there is a revolt and the process starts again.

Jake the guy who says you can't argue with anything that the government does because the government says it can do it and therefore it can and therefore you can't complain.

Ask Abraham Lincoln what we do to seceders;)

Yep, and well we should. If a state leaves this union, they are not just leaving, they are taking with them all the Resources in their state that belong not just to them, but the country as a whole. They are also walking out on their share of our Debt Obligations.

.

The British crown made the same argument about the American rebellion. All they wanted was for the colonists to pay 'their fair share" of maintaining the colonies, and they did not wish to relinquish the resources of those colonies.

What can you say, life is a beach.

With one key difference. Texas has fair representation in the US federal Government. The Colonies had no such representation, or say in the Kings Government.

Never said anything of the sort, which now adds "liar" to your bio.
