In 2008 the ppb was high so rig count went higher than it had been in 40 years. Everybody was borrowing money for exploration and drilling... Lots and lots of new production.
When the ppb goes low and stagnates production absolutely dries up. I don't know why these brats don't understand that. Maybe they think they are OWED cheap gasoline..
