If Trump either permits Build the Wall to do so and/or his proposed emergency wall decree is upheld by the court then the Ds are toast, if not the Rs are. Other things are nice but not make or break.

Howard Schultz just decided the 2020 election. Another six years!

USA! USA!

If Howard runs, it's because he is a real Patriot and he knows it will ensure a socialist doesn't win.

If he runs and Trump wins, I will personally spend $20 at Starbucks and encourage others to do the same. I'd spend more, but I'm Canadian.

HS has already announced he is running as an independant. He KNOWS he will never win. That's not the point.
He just wants to make sure the Socialists in the DEM party don't win.

If Trump can't get the wall building by August he is toast no matter what else happens. The cost of illegals that shows up quite every on OAN on TV and all over the web is the only metric that matters. If Trump gets it going backwards prior to the primary season he wins if not he most likely loses. He definitely loses if those numbers are not moving backwards by the GOP convention.

So the stacked Supreme Court is going to legislate from the bench got it

One can only hope...………….that IS kind of the point of getting good conservatives appointed to the Court. I figure Trump has three more appointees, at least. Clarence Thomas, who wants to retire at a normal age (he's 70), Ruth Bader Ginsberg, who is quite aged and in poor health, and Stephen Breyer, who is 80.

Leftists have been legislating from the bench for a long time; now it's our turn. We aren't likely to get decent laws that make sense any other way, with the Leftists blocking all possible legislation of any kind.

I always knew that legislating from the bench line was bullshit.

Overturning shit legislation isn't "legislating from the bench"...Making things up out of whole cloth that aren't in any legislation or in the Constitution (i.e. Miranda, abortion, and the individual mandate being a "tax") is.

Um what? There is a law that says "the President may declare a national emergency and build that which he deems necessary to end that national emergency" that law was passed by Congress and signed into law. Therefor Trump actually doing it is fucking legal and no court should be able to tell him he can't.

On the other hand, there is no law which permitted Obama to allow people to sign up en masse so that we wouldn't be deported even though they are living here illegally. Among the very many things Obama did that were Unconstitutional power grabs.

I would declare a national emergency for the environment.

Oh, and what would you build?

And keep in mind of course that if Congress really didn't want let's say a wall built, they could pass a law saying "NO WALL" and then Trump couldn't do shit.

And here's a more important question anyway. Why aren't people angrier at the man and woman who have been in power since the 1980's and haven't done a god damn thing about this problem which has brought us to this point anyway? Maybe a Court should rule that Congress needs to start doing their fucking jobs.

In 1999 Clinton raided over 400 companies who hired illegals. In 2004 I think bush raided 4 companies.

Back then republicans said they were only doing jobs Americans wouldn’t do

Trump wins with a rock-solid base. The media and Dems obviously can't dent it and there are no Willies or Baracks on their rosters. as they lurch left.

Ridiculous. Trump pulled off a miracle. He’s going to have to do it again this time without Michigan. Don’t be so sure he sweeps PA and MN either.

Trump pulled off a miracle the first time around because of media and Democrat sleaze. Nothing has or will change. Trump will win.

Beto is the only one who has an outside chance but will not get the nomination unless he convinces the party he's Hispanic.

Unlike you, I am not an idiot and therefor I acknowledge that BOTH parties have contributed to the many problems in this country, I am on record in various threads on this board long before today as saying NEITHER party wanted to fix this problem.

If Trump fails on getting some sort of perimeter border deal done, he loses.
