The Best State In America?

10k + feet ?
The highest natural point in Texas is Guadalupe Peak, also known as Signal Peak. It stands at an impressive elevation of 8,751 feet (2,667 meters) above sea level. Located in Guadalupe Mountains National Park, this majestic peak rises more than 3,000 feet (910 meters) above the arid floor of the Chihuahuan Desert. You can reach the summit via a maintained stony trail, which covers 4.25 miles (6.8 kilometers) each way and involves a 3,000-foot (910-meter) elevation gain. Just be prepared for the mountain environment and associated risks—it’s a strenuous hike, but the views are absolutely worth it!
