The "statistics" presented by the lying lefties are deliberately misleading. "New cases" are merely the number of people who have tested positive. This includes people with no symptoms and those who have previously had the virus and are now immune. Those who have been or will be tested negative (the vast majority) are simply ignored.

First of all, Trump was amazingly prescient in January.

Second....the question in the OP is whether the resultant panic is political....and if so.....toward what end?
