"The Communist Party Has Not Changed Over The Years"

It seem sto me that becuase the Soviet Union was our enemy, and it was based on an economic philosophy, many American believed that we HAD to be the OPPOSITE of what ever they Soviet Union was. So since the Soviet Union was socialist/communist we HAD to be the opposite - Capitalist.

In fact the Constitution says no such thing.

Actually, since we were the enemy, the Soviet Union probably felt they HAD to be the OPPOSITE of whatever we were.

The Soviet Union was Communist long before the cold war started. In fact they were our allies during WWII.

The last thing on the minds of the Russian people during their communist revolution was any concern about the U.S.

Imagine that, and we were capitalists long before the cold war stated. Russia became communist in 1917, we became predominantly capitalist in 1900, although there were flavors of capitalism going back to 1600.

Could someone please show me where in the U.S> Constitution it specifies that we are a dedicated capitalist country? Or where it says that we are definitely not a socialist country?

Otherwise STFU!
The constitution specifically mentions limits on government power, not policy or philosophical prescriptions. So you're right, it doesn't specifically mention capitalism, but the concepts enshrined in it are anti-thetical to socialism... which is why the socialists are consistently trying to subvert it.
Where in the Constitution does it even mention the economic system to be employed?

Socialists point to the General Welfare clause for validity. They say that if it is for the good of society, then anything goes.

However, look at what James Madison, the father of the Constitution, wrote about his own General Welfare Clause.

"If Congress can employ money indefinitely to the general welfare,
and are the sole and supreme judges of the general welfare,
they may take the care of religion into their own hands;
they may appoint teachers in every State, county and parish
and pay them out of their public treasury;
they may take into their own hands the education of children,
establishing in like manner schools throughout the Union;
they may assume the provision of the poor;
they may undertake the regulation of all roads other than post-roads;
in short, every thing, from the highest object of state legislation
down to the most minute object of police,
would be thrown under the power of Congress.... Were the power
of Congress to be established in the latitude contended for,
it would subvert the very foundations, and transmute the very nature
of the limited Government established by the people of America."

So those that favor socialism must concede that they wish to subvert the very foundations of the US government, or continue to pretend that they really do like the Constitution.

Here we go. We have telephones and cars so throw the antiquated Constitution out the window.

Whether James liked it or not the govt. took over the very items you listed after the Civil War, it wasn't all at once nor was it on a grand scale as you see now but industrialist wanted roads and transportation built with gov. help and they made a profit off such activities., they needed educated people to work in factories they needed to be able to read and write.

The society and system you see in operation today are from the Great War era and beyond. Our forefathers and those after shaped this nation to it's needs, something a minimalistic document can't do. The Constitution provides the basic foundation not one of a chained lion being suppressed. And the interpretation of that document changes as the govt. and society decides it needs to be changed or an addendum is supported.
That is the flexibility that has allowed our nation to survive. That is providing for the general welfare of a nation.

P.S.: If Blacks and Sub-Humans

I was with you up until you said "blacks and sub-humans" -- you worded it like there is a distinction between the two -- just say sub-humans next time, we clearly know blacks are included in that group since they have long been scientifically proven to be sub human

Yo, I`m not in the "We" but I guess you are? I was meaning the White Snowflakes walking around Brainless, there, I set the record straight!!!

The Constitution certainly implies ownership and therefore capitalism to some degree. But it only implies it.

The preamble of the Constitution clearly states that one of the main purposes and responsibilties of the goverment is to provide for the 'General Welfare'. This gives the government broad responsibilties and powers to implement what many conservatives consider to be 'socialist'.

Of course the very existence of government is socialist by it's fundamental nature.

The conservative economist, Milton Freedman, considered the U.S. military to be socialist as he did just about every aspect of government.

In terms of true capitalism, government would have to be eliminated entirely, we should have private armies only (according to Freedmen), drugs should be legal.

Ultimate Capitalism is just a return to monarchy - becuase the wealthy would become the new emporers.

You mean the Trump voters.

Since I stand with the kneelers I'm not, but I don't believe him at all. Blacks can assault females and I do believe he has and probably still does.

The way Dims treat conservative blacks is unconscionable

None of you have enough integrity to admit that you hate him, perhaps more than you hate Trump, because black conservatives are what you fear most. You fear blacks around the country finally waking up to the fact that major cities with large black populations like Detroit and Chicago are only getting worse, with no help from the Dim party they elect every year. No, what you want is a continued block vote based upon race and only fed through continued propaganda that the party that freed the slaves are the ones that are really racists.

It explains why you hurl stones at this fully capable and successful black conservative, and why you think Bill Clinton was a swell President.

Such hypocrisy and racism is duly noted.

Trump gets it and is why he got more black votes than usual. After all, what in the hell do they have to lose by voting for him, and as we see, black unemployment has dropped to record levels.

Yo, a short History Lesson for Dummies:

History of English Immigration to America:

The Reasons for English Immigration to America
Why did people want to leave England and why did they want to move to America? The reasons for the English Immigration to America was at first based on obtaining profit from the new lands but quickly changed as people decided to move from England to escape Taxes, Religious and Political Prosecution, yes, Obama Socialist existed. The prospect of a new life and owning some land was also a major reason for the English immigration to America.

How do you provide? Work!!! So most were farmers to provide for their families, but some opened a business, that is called CAPITALISM!!!! LIVE WITH IT DUMMIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
