The Confederacy was an Evil Empire

There is no denying the Confederacy was evil and formed for evil purposes
Wrong

The south was never as dedicated to revolution against the Crown as the north was

Slavery had something to do with it, but its far from the whole story

For over a hundred and fifty years, the legacy of the Confederacy has been sold as a noble Lost Cause of states defending their states rights.

The reality is that the Confederacy was an Evil Empire. One of the worst nations in the history of mankind.

The Confederacy was built on ensuring that the institution of slavery would exist forever,
The Confederacy kept 40 percent of its population in bondage.
The economy of the Confederacy was built around enforced free labor. Labor enforced by whip and chain.
The Confederacy used women for breeding and then sold the children.
The Confederacy considered human slaves as no more than livestock

By any valuation, this was pure EVIL and should never be defended or honored in todays society.
We Should Know by Now That This Is the True History

Just like later chain gangs, slavery was punishment. Feral races fresh out of the jungle had to be tamed. Slaveowners were wardens.

That describes the current Democrats state of belief over the US Taxpayers. We are their slaves.

I don’t want to hear that Trumpian “there were good people on both sides” nonsense

By any measure, the confederacy was built on an evil premise
A society built on human bondage

It is unworthy of celebration
Dear Old Dixie is an embarassment
Stonewall's Revenge

Our junglified cities are an embarrassment directly related to the dogma that the South was an embarrassment.

Sounds noble, but they still profited off that slave economy, which was the overwhelming majority of Southern GDP

Those noble farmers eagerly joined a Confederacy built to ensure slavery…..The “Cornerstone” of their nation.
They came home, enacted strict Jim Crow Laws and joined the Klan to keep their newly freed negro neighbors in line
Both Wings of the Ruling Class Now Keep Whites in Line

With us, all of the white race, however high or low, rich or poor, are equal in the eye of the law. Not so with the negro. Subordination is his place. He, by nature, or by the curse against Canaan, is fitted for that condition which he occupies in our system.

Andrew Stephens Vice President of the Confederacy

Could Adolph Hitler have said it any better?
Greasy Gobs of Gooey Godwin Guts

Race traitors refuse to realize that they are equating Jews with useless and dangerous jungle savages.

Yeah but slavery existed for a freaking hundred years in the North before the Civil War and the 4 short years of the Confederacy. The flag that flew from the stern of slave ships was the British Union Jack and sadly the Stars and Stripes. . Lefties live on cliches but the Yankee mills lived on southern cotton and the issue was expansion of slavery into territories. The drunk who headed the Union Army ordered his troops to rape and pillage and to burn cities like Atlanta as punishment. In a just world the Union leaders would have been hanged as war criminals instead of elected president.

^^^ bad history and sheer idiocy

Many of todays revisionist history group try to separate the Confederacy from the issue of slavery.

Except for slavery, the Confederacy was pretty good.

What exactly was good about the Confederacy ?

Should we also blame the Confederacy for slavery in the Northern states or was that separate from the Southern states?

Who gets the blame?

Gen Sherman knew the best way to deal with an Evil Empire
Show them no mercy and bring them to an end as quickly as possible

Lets be clear why our Constitution allowed slavery
Because the Southern States insisted on it as a condition of joining the Union

Our founders believed that the slavery issue would eventually play itself out and ended the importation of slaves after 1805

You dodged the question.

Not surprising though.
