For myself, no, we should teach facts and true history. However, these facts are basically taught as being unique to American history and/or to white people.

Racism, slavery, oppression, subjugation and war are part of the history of every country and culture on this planet. But if children only learn of these things within the context of American or white history then all we're doing is raising an entire generation of people who will hate their country and half the people in it.
