The revenue to fund "healthcare for all" has to come from somewhere. The endless fountain of money Democrats believe in does not exist.
The Democratic plan for a 42% national sales tax
The reason all these plans (and Commie Care) are failures is because we're doing it backwards. The proper way of doing it is to examine and reduce healthcare costs first, and then figure out how to pay for it. With all these stupid ideas, all we are doing is shifting the cost from one set of entities to another, but not really solving anything.
There are at least a dozen ways to reduce costs, but nobody addresses them. National tort reform would be a great start. Medical savings accounts would be another. Government paying the full bill for citizens on that program instead of two-thirds would be a huge help, and a drastic increase in Medicare paycheck contributions would help in that.
Instead of Medicare for all, what about Medicare for some? Maybe what we need is for government to take care of people with preexisting conditions, and that would take all the high risk clients out of the insurance pool. It won't be free of course, you'd have to buy into the plan, just like people on disability do. But insurance costs would lower and maintain greatly if all they had to do was insure low-risk clients.
