The Derek Chauvin Trial Thread

Those of you who are parroting the phrase "cold blooded murderer" don't seem to realize how damaging your rhetoric is. Because you take it upon yourself to be the judge and jury, you proliferate a narrative that is divisive and confusing. That's just what America needs right now. Most of you were probably railing about "Say Her Name" a few months ago. How did that work out?

George Floyd didnt deserve to die, but this is about as far as you can get from "cold blooded murder".

I’m not sure what “cold blooded murder” is exactly.

I think Chauvin will be found guilty of 3rd degree murder. Is that the same thing?

It was not cold blooded murder. It was a man resisting arrest while dying from an overdose of drugs.
Mr. Floyd wasn't resisting arrest. In fact he was already under arrest, via the handcuffs.

No sensible person could expect to kneel their full body weight on anyone's neck for over 3 minutes and expect them to live.
You do not know the force Chauvin used. The technique is, or was, taught to rookies. You are just trying to turn a horrible situation to your advantage and the countries disadvantage. Again, you people are part of the problem.

Cold blooded murder is planned, which I am sure you knew. There was no plan to do this. With Floyd's help it could have been avoided.

Still think there will be a fair trial.
He tried to block the public from seeing the police cam-footage.

And the excuses come rolling in early.

Does everything have to be confrontational with you?

Tell me I'm wrong.

Why would I do that? I think we are saying similar things, it's you for some strange reason who wants to argue.

Oh ok. Well I don’t think it was pre-meditated.

Right or wrong it certainly was convenient for election year riots combined with Covid.

Convenient? What are you suggesting? That Chauvin murdered Floyd because it was an election year?
No.
The media put it on a loop for days trying to incite the mob. At the same time Democrat leaders called on people to take to the streets.
Meanwhile......
A black man was shot in the Bronx last week. He was on the ground and unarmed.
It was caught on camera.
Not one media source aired it.

He’s trying to say that the attorney general is the reason why Chauvin won’t get a fair trial.

Does that sound reasonable to you? I think it’s an excuse in the event that Chauvin gets convicted, which at this point seems likely.

What does it look like to you?

Was he shot by a police officer?

I’m not sure what your point is.

I think we need to let the trial proceed and accept their verdict...And no, I don't think the AG is involved.

Fantastic. We’re in agreement that the AG will not prevent this from being a fair trial.

I’m not sure what the issue was.

The Progressive Socialist Alinsky machine went into full riot mode as they needed a reason. Year after year of venom spoken by the media and entertainers on TV and other social platforms had people at a fever pitch. Covid was used also. We all talk conspiracies but there are groups of people who are primed to get other people on the warpath. Watching fires and Prog shills saying nothing to see here should have been a scene in a movie. Media and entertainers and prog politicians got people killed.

I lost your point in that rant. Sorry.

Still not sure what you’re suggesting with the “convenient for election year” comment.

I know what I saw w/my own eyes, and what the entire world saw w/their own eyes.

The force used was clearly excessive, as it resulted in the premature death of Mr. George Floyd.

The rogue cop Chauvin is going to pay for what he did.

Again, you do not know the force applied. Floyd was going to die anyway. He was experiencing organ shutdown.

I don't know what force was applied, but you somehow know that he was experiencing organ shutdown.
