The difference between a Conservative and a liberal is

Thanks for reaffirming that Jesus was indeed a Liberal. Jesus could have taught his disciples to fish when they went out on their boat, but instead, he just filled their net with fish.

If Jesus were a liberal, He would have convinced the Roman Government it was their job to simply supply the fish instead of making Him do all the effort.

Conservatives want a smaller more efficient government taking care of things only government can do, i.e., food and environmental safety, military, police, infrastructure etc. They are generally independant types that want to earn money and spend it the way they see fit. Contrary to the propaganda conservativism does not mean 'no change' but a look before you leap philosophy.

Liberals are collectivists, believing the country is a family that needs parental oversight. Since we are family members we should share for the common good. Liberals are much more emotionally driven, like children, and tend to leap first and look later. This leads to a mess of a life and the collective's role is to assist the failure.

They are cheap. They love spending your money but hate spending their own. Laws aren't supposed to apply to them, they're for everyone else. Because they are special. They will build a slaphappy shack in their yard but scream bloody murder if the neighbor's isn't fully permitted. They hate hatefull people. They are all for free speech if it agrees with them. Tolerance is defined as agreement with them. We are all encouraged to be ourselves unless it differs from them.

Maybe none of the blacks who voted 90% for Obama will vote for any of these conservative black candidates, but since they are far fewer in number than the whites who will vote for them, their votes won't matter anyway. Also, those who did not get their free cell phones and their mortgages paid for from Obama's "stash" will have second thought about voting for another liar and will stay home.

Of course, they can still vote more than once, have their dead uncles and aunts vote just like they did for Obama.

Well Joe, I recall watching the Senate confirmation hearing of Clarence Thomas a few years back, chaired by then chair of the Judiciary committee, Joke Biden, viciously, hatefully and unjustly aided and abetted by cowardly drunkard, the happily late and departed Ted Kennedy.
