Like Jesse Ventura or Ross Perot, she may show up every once in a while to hurl red meat or use stunt cameos to remind us a little of her awkward charms. SHE is just getting started. PREPARE yourselves for a beatdown.

In general I could see more unity among Women from both parties coming together and agreeing that patriarchal bullying is wasting time and resources on conflicts we can't afford.

I personally work with prochoice and prolife activists, promoting interaction and collaboration on reforms by mutual agreement instead of fighting over politically biased laws.

Could see a lot more cross-party collaboration in the future, because all this fighting is not solving problems effectively but detracting and wasting valuable resources we could invest in longterm solutions.

As for Palin, the reactions to how her image was portrayed in the media really woke me up to how people react to Hillary Clinton and any other figure based on political bias. Some of it is sexist, but even Ann Coulter has made crude sexist remarks against a woman referring to genitalia, so it isn't just men being sexist against women, but women conditioned also.

So if nothing else, flaws or failures, Palin brought out issues of bias we needed to address anyway. I look at the solutions this will lead to, and focus on the good points regardless.
