Each citizen should be given a tatoo and number that would enable authorities to scan the number and retrieve all information about the idividual, including photo ID and biometirics. Also included would be political affiliation, religion, medical records, etc.

Voting is a right as long as it is done lawfully.

Convicted felons are not allowed to vote in some states. You have to be at least 18 years old and a citizen of the US. A photo ID is required in many states as well.

How?

The range on passive chips like in ID cards isn't very far, it isn't like they have powerful batteries emitting signals that travel miles. Are you think a national ID would have an RFID chip that was more than a passive signal like when you pass thru the doorway of a store with an antitheft tag, or when a vet waves the wand over a dog to try to identify it?

How would an RFID chip in an ID card track movements?
