Trump got elected because Americans got fed up with being ignored by the parties for many many years. He was a terrible solution but the voters were given a chance at change or the status quo and the status quo is not good.

Actually the republican plan is as long a a democrat is in the white house, they'll do everything they can to sabotage America and the economy, so they can blame it on the democratic president.
