healthmyths
1. Late on election night, with Trump comfortably ahead, many swing states stopped counting ballots. In most cases, observers were removed from the counting facilities.
Counting generally continued without the observers
NOT TRUE, it was one loctation where the poll watchers left, after they finished watching the absentee envelope, ballot removal process....which was required by law. Machines counting ballots, poll watchers are NOT required under election Law. They are welcomed to stay, but not required for that machine scanning process.
2. Statistically abnormal vote counts were the new normal when counting resumed. They were unusually large in size (hundreds of thousands) and had an unusually high (90 percent and above) Biden-to-Trump ratio.
FALSE
Many of the battleground states, State election law does not allow the processing of absentee envelopes and enclosed ballots, until election day.
Democratic constituents were pounded by politicians and election workers to stay home and stay safe from the corona virus and to vote via absentee ballot. Trump told his constituents to vote in person, and put fear in to his followers to not vote, absentee ballot, because it was as he called it, rigged....(He was setting up, his "election was stolen" scam months before the first vote was cast)
About 75% of the absentee vote, went to Biden..... NOT 90%
3. Late arriving ballots were counted. In Pennsylvania, 23,000 absentee ballots have impossible postal return dates and another 86,000 have such extraordinary return dates they raise serious questions
NOT TRUE/FALSE
The absentee ballots stamped by election day but coming in up to 3 days after the election, which was permitted by the Penn SC ruling, were kept separate from other ballots, and ULTIMATELY NOT INCLUDED in the vote count.
4. The failure to match signatures on mail-in ballots. The destruction of mail-in ballot envelopes, which must contain signatures
FALSE
Ballot envelopes were not destroyed or thrown away. Signature matches etc were done, and even redone in certain counties on a recount audit of signatures....recounts and counts and signatures matched.
5. Historically low absentee ballot rejection rates despite the massive expansion of mail voting. Such is Biden’s narrow margin that, as political analyst Robert Barnes observes, ‘If the states simply imposed the same absentee ballot rejection rate as recent cycles, then Trump wins the election’
NON ISSUE
Because all the state's ran their primaries with the absentee mail in ballot increase for covid protection, they had a dry run with the process, before the Presidential election, they were able to Learn from their mistakes and the mail in process..... the big weakness was so many signature matches, or missing signatures etc being rejected....Democrats had a major campaign to inform their voters on how to fill out an absentee ballot, and have it be counted and not rejected. Obama even did an infomercial on how to fill out and sign the envelope.....
Being informed this time, helped.
6. Missing votes. In Delaware County, Pennsylvania, 50,000 votes held on 47 USB cards are missing
NEVER HEARD
of that accusation, need more info.
7. Non-resident voters. Matt Braynard’s Voter Integrity Project estimates that 20,312 people who no longer met residency requirements cast ballots in Georgia. Biden’s margin is 12,670 votes
FALSE
There is no proof they are no longer eligible to vote. A change of address to another State is not sufficient proof....
- military and families from Georgia, transferred to another State, keep their home state citizenship, even of living in another state.
- people who go to live in their vacation home temporarily are still citizens of their home state.
- People away on business in another state, are still citizens of their home state.
- people living overseas are still citizens of their home state.
- people like me, having to visit their elderly parents for months at a time are still citizens of their home state.
All of the above, would have put in a change of address, but are still eligible to vote in their home state
IT IS THE WHOLE PURPOSE of absentee ballots, before safety concerns and covid, is to allow the State citizens a means to vote, when they will be ABSENT from their precinct voting place.
