Influenza can be horrible. I'm glad she's well.

It is horrible!!! I have had it only once, and what is ironic is that I caught it, the first year I got my flu shot!
It just so happened, that the strain of flu saturating the country was a strain that was not in the flu shot.

I was never sicker in my life, and it lasted a month, before the cough subsided!

And I have had Pneumonia! Which was easy peasy, a z pak of antibiotics and it was gone....the flu, not even close!

I had flu in 1986.. my fever was so high I hallucinated.. my cough also lasted a month. I'm skinny anyway, but I lost 15 pounds.

Yesterday, CDC advisers voted unanimously to add Corona vaccines to child immunisation schedules, and today the European Medicines Agency approved Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines for use in infants in the European Union. I find these developments too depressing to discuss. The doses administered under these rules will kill a small but nontrivial number of children in exchange for nothing at all. That the vaccines don’t prevent transmission, that children are at zero risk from Omicron infection, that all of this pointless – none of this matters. Making these arguments is like talking to a wall for all the effect that it has.

Instead of boring you with the obvious, I want to return to a phenomenon I’ve alluded to a few times now, namely the disappearance of influenza during the pandemic. Every time I mention this, the commentariat voice their scepticism, and I’ve long planned a single post explaining my reasons for thinking a) that influenza really did disappear in 2020 and 2021; b) that this had nothing to do with lockdowns and everything to do with the emergence of a new pathogen and its disturbance of the broader virological ecosystem; and c) that we cannot so easily put this vanishing act down to shifts in testing or diagnosis caused by Coronasteria. To prove these points I’ll use German data, which I’m the most familiar with, but you could argue similarly with CDC numbers, or the statistics of many other countries.

My wife and I disagree about this dangerous experimental mRNA shit.

I refuse to even consider letting anyone inject this dangerous shit into me. I am convinced that it is not safe, not effective, and not necessary; and I sure as Hell am not going to let anyone inject any dangerous experimental drugs into me on the fraudulent guise of “protecting” me from an exaggerated cold/flu bug.

My wife is “fully vaccinated”.

We both recently caught COVID-1984 about the same time, a month or two ago. She got at least as sick as I did from it, and was sick at least as long as I was. On top of that, she's now been found to be having some issues with her heart. I cannot say with very much confidence that the mRNA shit caused that, but it is certainly not inconsistent with reports of it causing these kind of issues.

I can safely say that the mRNA shit did not do my wife any good at all, and it is possible that it has caused her far more harm than it ever could have prevented.
