There is only one and only one law of economics:

The dominant military paradigm controls the disposition of all wealth and resources.

The U.S. government is that dominant military paradigm in the U.S. and throughout most of the world.

'Free market economics' is a utopian theory that can never exist. It is no more realistic than utopian communism. The U.S. government has created an economic system that somewhat emulates a free market system, but only to a limited extent.

The fact is that to have anything close to a free market, there needs to be a government to protect that economy from dictatorships and communists and other types of barbarians. For that government to exist, it must tax the economic system. Taxation itself means that it is not a free market system.

I have to laugh at people who hate paying taxes. They remind me of my dogs:

My dogs love milk bones. My dogs want milk bones. My dogs have know idea of what a milk bone is or where it comes from. All they know or care about is that they want one.

In the same way, anti-tax people love money, they want money. They do not seem to know what money is or where it comes from.

Money comes from the U.S. government. It is a U.S. government note recognizing the wealth of the bearer.

Anyone who is wealthy should embrace taxes - without those taxes there would be no U.S. government and without the U.S. government they would have no wealth.

So while they are truly like my dogs, not knowing or caring what the source or nature of what they desire is, at least it's clear that my dogs are a whole lot smarter than these anti-tax idiots:

My dogs have enough brains not to bite the hand that feeds them.

Free market capitalism does not mean anarchy. Capitalism needs regulation and controls to work, otherwise it's a Mad Max world. The more government controls it the further we move to socialism, the bigger government gets and the worse the economy sinks. Like now.

You say the free market doesn't exist. Can you choose what you want to buy and sell to others and can they do the same as well? I guess we really can't with obamacare so you may have a point. Deep down you are really just a totalitarian who naturally sees the world as super regulated so whenever someone says they want the free-market you see it as 'anarchy' since we don't have the government guiding every economic choice we make.

I would just like to say go fuck yourself in the ass.

First, the economy crashed in 2008 due to lack of regulation. It has mostly recovered now.

Secondly, your statement that capitalism needs regulation, just affirms my statement.

Third, just saying the word 'socialism' does not mean anything bad. Please try to break out of your 1950s brainwashed stupor.

The idea that bigger government equates to a worse economy is pure nonsense. The U.S. has had one of the 'largest' government since the 1870s. it was enormous during the 1950s. If anything history has proven that big government equates to a booming economy. Once again, pleas try to break out of your stupor.

You obviously do not know what the meaning of 'free market' is. We do not have a free market. Try not to see the world in binary terms.

There is only one and only one law of economics:

When you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can always count on the support of Paul. That it?

Money is created by the U.S. government. If you do not like U.S. currency you are free to issue your own currency - as long as it clearly does not appear to be U.S. currency.

A fundamental responsibility of the U.S. government is to 'promote the general welfare'.

If you don't like paying taxes, do not accept U.S. currency.

Someone's been hitting the vodka and paintchips again...

Apparently, my statements are beyond your comprehension, as is the nature of money. For sure, you are very much like my dogs.

EFLAT is a tool. He is an absolute believer in the gold standard. Which history proved to every nation in the world was a really bad idea. Which may, just possibly, prove why there are no nations on a commodity standard at this point.
Laissez Faire economics is also the favorite of Eflat. Also known as Libertarianism, it is a social and economic system that has never, ever existed in a successful manner. Much like communism, it was bound to fail, and always did.
But the pursuit and support of Libertarianism makes rich supporters more rich. Sad.

Straight to the ad hominem logic fallacy. Color me shocked.

Are any of you collectivists capable of forming a thought WITHOUT logical fallacies? It would appear not.

You keep pushing the central planning...cuz' that's worked out wonderfully.

Why is it that con tools like you always have to lie. I do not believe in communism. Period. Never said I did. But you are apparently saying I am pushing central planning, which is something that as part of a mixed economy does indeed work. Communism never works, and Libertarianism never works. So, where is the logical fallacy? Seems to me that the only logical fallacy is Libertarianism. I did mention that.
Hope you are able to keep on track. You seem to be having problems being rational.

Thank you for making my point.

So pissing in your cornflakes is bad...but if I just squirt a bit a piss on 'em, that's okay. Got it.

Ah. So you are a libertarian. I was sure you were, just wanted you to say it.
So, you have now proven yourself to be an idiot. You believe in something that does not exist. And you believe in something that, with a couple hundred countries to exist in, never has existed. Do you also believe in ghosts, me boy. So, you just wanted to prove yourself to be a joke? Got it. Do you really like proving yourself to be insignificant, me boy? Or are you going to tell us why you believe Libertarianism is a real thing, a true social and economic system that exists in the real world. And as such competes with other economic systems?
Are you going to explain to us why Libertarianism, or Laissez Faire economics exists in some country today, and has not yet failed? Or do you just like theories that have failed, and do not exist.
Do you want to join other "Libertarians" who can not find a libertarian nation and so are spending millions to try and build a Libertarian Island? But no, that would prove the point of all of us who state that Libertarianism is now nothing but a failed idea. Like you, me boy.

I must thank you yet again for proving the left's inability to argue coherently. Nothing but logic fallacies, one after another.

Really great of you to help out like that. Thanks!

I must comment again about you proving the right's inability to argue coherently. Nothing but logic fallacies. In fact, no argument of any kind.
Really great of you to help point out your inability to support any argument. Thanks!

Just normal stupidity of conservative trolls.
