The ONE qst. that should be asked of every GOP candidate

Maybe because your big question is nothing more than an asinine attempt at a springboard to attack Christians?

That's what I thought.

One of the more important things I would like to know from ANY candidate is whether he or she is guided by faith...or facts. Not much more to "read" into my O/P.

Bullshit.

Your "mandatory question " doesn't ask that at all. No use trying to pretend now.

Just makes you look dishonest too.

At every scheduled debate for the GOP primaries, each of the candidates should be asked one very simple question....just to separate the sane from the insane:

"Do you believe in creationism or evolution....."

The answer to the above can help dwindle down the number of whomever should even be given a microphone and a podium.

Really...and how would that matter? As Dennis Prager pointed out, wether a politician believes in creationism or evolution, or both, effects this country not one bit....the real question......do you believe that government can solve problems? That question is far more important and reveals far more about a candidate than the evolution question.

I'd prefer to ask candidates just what their reasoning is for anything.

In Obama's case, he's a "constitutional lawyer" so he knows better.

He also won...so he gets that for free.

And you didn't build that...somebody else did.

But somebody can't be counted on to help his neighbor.

And that has what to do with their ability to run the country?
nothing, since these fools think socialism will work, this time.

Look....if they can only kill another 100 million of the "right" people this time they can probably, probably almost get it to work...........those damned Americans stopped the experiments before they could kill enough people.......

During the revolt in Egypt as the'Arab Spring' was unravelling, discussion groups of activists posed a simple question to others at the table. The question was 'what are your attitudes about art?'

Like evolution versus creationism, this question was designed to ferret out radicals and extremists so they could not hold sway in constructing a new Egyptian constitution. Fundamentalists and radical extremists hold decidedly conservative views on art and could not hide from their loony attitudes.

Hey Mike Huckabee, hey Li'l Ricky Santorum, hey Donald Trump. What are your views on art?

Wow...you aren't very bright are you?

How did someone with your limitations draw any conclusion, let alone that one?

and to go one more step, if Government fixes all problems, in the end do we as a society really care if science or religion was the main factor in the fixing?
I dont think so.

The actual answer is that government can't fix problems....they usually patch it over for a while at the same time they are making the underlying problem 100 times worse......

I hope I have illuminated your thinking. From your posts, I can only surmise that you and I do not share the same set of manner, social comportment, literacy and worldliness. I further assume that, if you and I were to walk into a room where a television set was on and showing a violent gun battle, I would turn it off while you took a seat and asked for popcorn.

Gun fights in movies are boring....I prefer political programs discussing the issues.......do you sit quietly under your che poster reading marx......?

Probably because you're gay.

Anyway, I'd rather hear the following question:
Do you believe that every problem can be solved with a well-designed government program and sufficient funding?
ANyone answering Yes is immediately taken out back and shot.

Another good one......though I think shooting is a bit harsh...and a waste of a good bullet.....

Are you afraid that if you watch a staged gun battle on TV that you will be forced to run out and have your own gun battle?
seems like the makings of a pretty weak mind if you ask me.
but let me guess, you would have no problem if it was a love story being shown and the actors were filmed having sex. ( straight or gay, makes little difference really)

I think this question would get to the heart of the matter....

"Did you vote democrat in the last 2 Presidential elections?" Anyone who answers yes would be automatically unqualified to hold any government office........ever......

The assumption that a Christian cannot govern a nation that respects all (and respects the rejection of all) faiths, is pure crap.

If THIS is what you're about, you are just one more example of a zealot who has been manipulated by fear.

I got no use.
