At the very least someone on the SS team would have made a check of the most obvious sniper location

Seriously, that roof was the single, best, most obvious place from which to shoot at Trump. And not only wasn't there any SS there, no one was even paying attention to it.

It is almost as if this was staged to BLAME GUNS (and Republicans).

Fact of the matter is that the SS even let people line up along the perimeter fence.

They could have hit Trump with a spitball.

Sure, the Director (now former) of the Secret Service resigned. But there needs to be ACCOUNTABILITY! And no one is being accounted for it.

She resigned and the narrative is going to be that she was just an incompetent DEI hire. The FBI will say that Crooks was a lone gunman and all the evidence will get lost or accidentally destroyed. Everybody knows that the Secret Service tried to assassinate Trump but don't hold your breath waiting for an official admission of this. They still haven't admitted that the CIA killed the Kennedys.

I think they're also truly (and I'm not running smack here) at how everyone pretty much just shrugged and went back to what they were doing.

I lost my spouse a while back. And that was the hardest thing for me to "get over"...how people just went on with their lives. I really think that many (if not most) of the blobbers here can't get over how little the rest of us cared.

but you do bring up a good point as to why gun control always fails,,

you cant tell who will go off the deep end until they actually do it,,

Gun control fails because it hasn't been tried in this country.

It works perfectly well in Japan, The UK, France, Italy, Germany, and even Canada.

We are the only country where this happens on a regular basis.


It's actually pretty easy to keep guns out of the hands of crazies before they go off. You do a thorough background check on people who are buying guns.

Maybe not this case, because his Dad gave him a gun, but his dad sounds like kind of a nut, too.

Do you know how easy it is to hide an AR-15 in your backpack? You just separate the upper and lower receivers, and they'll fit in a backpack nice.

The problem was, this building was outside the venue where Trump was speaking, and the SS only worried about securing the venue.
