The power and profitability of victim hood.

The NBA recently fined the Phoenix Suns owner 10 MILLION DOLLARS because he allegedly used the N word a few times in conversations although never at any person. He also allegedly made "inappropriate sexual comments". He was forced to sell the team under an avalanche of criticism. The 10 million dollars will most likely go to Black Lives Matter given the NBA's very cozy arrangements with the organization. It has not been disclosed whether Mr. Sarver will get to keep all the proceeds from the sale of the Suns or if more money will be extorted in the name of Social Justice. Victim hood in America pays VERY WELL.

I don't know exactly what side of the situation it is that you stand on, but in some situations, people who are victims do not ask for such a label. To me, if words are all that the guy is guilty of, how much of a punishment should've been thrown at him when there are people out there who are guilty of way worse? If that man is a victim, those who decided to go after him in such a way are who made him a victim and if the money from selling that team has to go towards the fine that he was slapped with, at the end of the day, maybe being a victim doesn't pay as well as it used to.

The establishment is now arresting people and throwing them in jail for this crime. It is only a matter of time before bigotry and sexism is a jail-able offense.

A suburban Phoenix man who directed the slur at a young Black man has been arrested for disorderly conduct. It's illegal to provoke a fight.
